@@apostlenesheste Hey, no it wasn’t possible all the time, some days I couldn’t find any spot, and went to campings. Southern Sweden is very rural, it’s fields and private lands everywhere and not so many free spaces. But I used a great app that helped finding spots : Vildnis. Super convenient !

@@fatimaSM236 Thanks :-) Landscapes were stunning ! Commuting during the Olympics was actually ok, not so much traffic, and no traffic restrictions (at least on a bike :-)). But it was much more complicated before it starts, especially just before the opening ceremony (with safety zones, traffic restrictions, pass needed to move around).

Bonjour, oui ça m'est arrivé dans le Thalys, qui est en général assez chargé en valises. Il n'y avait plus de place pour le Brompton, alors je suis resté avec lui sur un strapontin près des racks à bagages, entre les voitures :-(
Adorably chaotic! I was in Paris for the first time, more or less at the same time as this video, and I walked this same route but in reverse (no Brompton for me there). Went over to Brompton Junction at Rivoli street and I brought some stuff. Great video!

Just test rode a Brompton in paris. Can’t wait to get mine. Makes nonsense of electric bikes.
@gdwlaw5549 In all fairness, electric bikes have their place. It has helped me to get rehabilitated as I was not strong enough to cycle anywhere meaningful in my condition if I had to depend purely on my own muscle power. I am much stronger now and have more endurance. I am considering of all things to buy a pedal bike and you might find it hard to believe that I want a Brompton. I had been riding folding bikes before I got sick and enjoy the advantages they present. I think the Brompton embodies those advantages very well indeed. I am just trying to decide which model, 3 speed or 6 speed. I live in a relatively flat area so the 3 speed seems just about right. I have no plans, at least of now to attempt any "touring" as I still have to take it easy and get stronger over time.

very nice video, thanks for recording and uploading! its relaxing and infuriating at the same time. not gonna lie, the overall behavior of people in general in crouded areas lets me question the intelligence of us human beings...like for example all the surprised faces when realizing that while crossing a read light you might run into somebody who wants to get through -_-
Thank you ! People not following the light is kind of a rule here 😤 - pedestrians, bikes, cars or scooters, all the same ! A bit upsetting ! But I have to admit that I do it too sometimes (when no one is crossing ;-))

Nice - I know a lot of this route. I live between the UK and Belgium (Antwerp(. I get off the ferry at the Hook of Holland and ride from there to Rotterdam before getting on the train to Antwerp. That can be a nice ride unless the wind is against you :) Also have toured a lot in Holland - try the route up the cost from the Hook to Schevenignen through the sand dunes - it is mind blowing :)

Love this - I live in Antwerp and it similar. However - if you are interested I took my Brompton to Bengaluru in India - and it is a little different, in fact you have to unlearn how you have to ride over there when you come back. If you bear with it there are massive contrasts between the areas.My favourite part is actually from about 58:00 - you see Rangolis painted on the road. @@colinhoward2200 Paris bike infrastructure has improved a lot those past years, much nicer to ride now :-) You can even ride from Belgium to Paris on the EV3 :-))
