shit man, I don't want to come across like these proselytising fitness ppl. But since switching to 3 days full body, the strength is increasing, I feel better all around. Not feeling like the need for a deload week, and I'm still making gains. If I could go back in time and tell this to my younger self, I wouldn't had believed it 😂

It's great seeing some of the Old School bodybuilders still training hard and looking great. I remember Dwayne from my first time competing 45 years ago. I was 16 competing in the Teenage division and Dwayne was in the Open. It was an AAU show and back then you didn't pick your posing music. They just randomly played music and you posed. I remember that when Dwayne posed, they played " On Broadway". I remember Dwayne had a complete physique and was very impressive.

It's very unlikely to do 15 reps to failure and then increase the weight and still be able to get 12 reps in. And then increase the weight again and get 8 reps in. Come on. If that's his rep scheme he does NOT go to failure on the first sets.

Firstly your not throwing weights around, think, lee Haney, organized and measured exactly the precise weights necessary to accomplish these drop sets, another thing people forget, I was strong but in order to do sets correctly I had to increase my cardiovascular skills, because some type of workouts require heavy breathing and resistance of the breathing so the weakness doesn't become the breathing, most people give up because of their breathing,so for a lot of years I dis slow cardio but for a few hours going up a hill, then sometimes I did sprints like professionals and try to last as much as I can, the same applies working both type of twitch fibers in your muscles, fast and slow, your strength increases gradually, but yes we all have a limit, but that's great, remember I'm natural, and the things I can do are surpassing what I did when in my teens, but yes we need to be reasonable with the weights, we need to know our limits, pushing past a certain point will lead to problems called, injuries, we don't need that so the idea is to use good weight to stimulate growth without getting hurt.😮 wow I got carried away.😅

Excellent video! I really love this training split because the workouts will take less time and they’ll be more intense and focused. The recovery will be great as well because each session won’t generate much fatigue due to training only a few muscles at a time. Spreading out the weekly volume over multiple sessions is an incredible idea. Outstanding work! 💪

I really appreciate Dwayne for sharing his advice with us! 🙏
