Home Free Family DIY
США
Добавлен 22 ноя 2018
We are the Home Free Family! We have moved seven times in the last six years and are starting our third live in house flip. The house we are currently working on is a 4,000 sq ft house that was built in the 70s, and hasn't been updated since. We try our best to involve our three boys in the work whenever possible. We have a seven year old, six year old, and four year old, and one of their most favorite activities is working with their dad.
We want to show you how easy it is to do renovations yourself! We'll turn as many of our projects as possible into "How To" videos for you to watch and try on your next project. Thanks for following along with us!

Should I use aqua defense on wood floors before installing laminate flooring
15 years ago I installed new wood stairs with a maple color stains in my house, it looks good against a white background, that was the trend of the times. However it's slippery especially when you wear socks and I've been looking for idea to counter this issue. None suits me till now, I think I will go with this clear tapes. Thank you.
Beautiful doors. When constructing the window panels for the side that was screwed into the frame, did you drill a pilot hole for the bolt to fit in or did you add something to the hole so the bolt threads would have something to grab? Could you please explain what you did there? I would greatly appreciate that!! Thank you and keep producing the beautiful work.
1:20 Dog Yawn 😂
Where did you buy the sheets?
This is a botch job
@@yahiasherzad1383 thanks 😄
I'm wanting to put that system in next spring. I was just wandering if it would do a bigger difference if I put one in each end of the house
Water and baking soda right
😂 man you’re getting some hate mail. I gotta say I agree with the comments. Guys don’t fair too well when a dude posts his whole life story when all we want to know is how to scribe tile to an uneven freaking ceiling. Amateur tip: if you end up with a tiny gap at the ceiling, you don’t start your first full course of tile at the bottom. *You add the gap plus the height of one full tile and divide by two, and that’s how high you start your first course of tile. Install a straight level edge at that height and start first course from there… that way you have a about a 5/8th of a tile at the bottom and the top. Yeah it’s more work.. but that tiny skinny course of tile at the top looks ridiculous. 😂 sorry mate.
termites would have been worse! looks good but chain would have been a lot easier.
I watched the post because I wanted to know how to fix a gap problem. What the he'll did I just watched. Just to let you know I didn't even listen to your story. Just passed off. F$%k me. Waste of time!
This made me suicidal
You make it look soo ease and I hope Is that ease when I install mine . Thanks for sharing this 🙌🏽 😊😊
That looks like an old air tank, interested to see if this works, I was thinking about using the other end of the tanks, cut smaller, to provide that air gap between them the two, and also provide a good combustion chamber
Very helpful used video to install one today
Thank you.
It’s easy enough. Only thing I don’t like is, not enough opening when the cover opens up. Still a good job.
Just curious if dead center is right in the middle of a stud, you just carefully decide to go to one side or the other?
Question for you. I cut my heel on LVF coming down the floating stairs. My heel came up & caught back of stair because it was so sharp where the LVF came together on step above. What do you suggest I cover/round the steps above so that doesn’t happen? Thanks so much.
looks like crap
@HomeFreeFamily. Thanks for posting this video. Can you talk about the ease of cleaning behind this bathtub, now that you've had it for a while?
Good video. I’m going to install the same fan tomorrow in my attic!
Just my 2 cents. If a crack keeps coming back, it is structural.
Seems high viewing angle
Fans will help extend the life of your roof especially if you have singles.
I'd like to know how to get blood colored stains left by very tart cherries out of a similar looking granite countertop. 🤔 It's a largish stain measuring 4 x 6 inches. 😅
No flex ...come on
Nice video. Noce kids too. I'm gonna do it what ever way If'n want to do it, no matter whether RUclips trolls like it or not. That is what caulk is for..... WHATEVER I want to use it for.
I would have had the Kids put on some Eye Pro before pulling the trigger. Stay Safe!
Stupid question but Where does that hole 🕳️ in the ceiling go? Whatever it sucks up just stay in the attic?
NEVER USE BLEACH AND DONT PUT PLASTIC AND LEAVE OVERNITE! SHE WAS SUPPOSED TO USE BAKING SODA AND WATER CONSUSTENCY OF PEANUT BUTTER, SPREAD OVER STAIN, COVER WITH PLASTIC AND LEAVE 24-48 HOURS. YOU WILL RUIN AND ETCH YOUR STONE IF YOU USE BLEACH.
Best honest review!
guns are not dangerous, people are, when you misspell something do you blame your pen, no you dont (im telling this for all the karent that might say something)
That was so pointless
Leaving it with flaws makes it more authentic in the industrial design.
It looks like the fan should be installed from the outside for a better weather seal?
nice work !!
Hello, Thank you for posting this video. I hope you can help me , though. I just bought a Mainstays Hanging Egg Chair yesterday. I sat in it and it's comfortable. The problem is, the next day - when I'm writing this message - it just started making a popping noise at the top area. I can't pinpoint the noise, but, believe it's coming from the top portion of the base where the HD spring is attached to it. Not sure if that's the area or if it's where the top pole sits inside the bottom one, being attached with two HD bolts. The popping doesn't happen all the time, only once in a short while. It's likely a long - shot, but, would you have any idea what might be causing the popping noise in my new chair ? I appreciate your help either way. 👍
That's so helpful! You have beautiful and happy family❤
What’s the song around 3:40?
If you ever need a tutorial viseo on how NOT to make a tutorial video, this is where you need to be.
What brand and actual name
😂
Dear Lord, please show us How to Fix an awkward gap at the top of the tile. UGH
looks good!
Next time use caulk under the lip of the vent lol
You need two. One on either end, one pulling in air, the other pulling it out.
Pushing air in is sub-optimal as you'll suck in more dirt, bugs, debris than if there is adequate venting (passive) from gables, soffits, ridge vent.
Jesus Christ get to the point, i don't wanna know your whole life story
The blessing that God gives to a man; having a beautiful family, is priceless.
You for got the door stop at the bottom of the door it goes before the drywall…
