What if you don’t have a trailer and you’re bob tailing
Or cold weather your trailer brakes will freeze up gotta keep airsupplied over night
@@hellhound6598if ur trailer brakes lock up then obviously it’s moving… so ur still fine
Even push the parking brake doesn’t stop my truck it shuts off automatically
What about in the winter time trailer brakes will lock 😅😮
If you just want to be safe,if you have a chock you may want to chock the wheel especially if you don't have a trailer.😂

Thanks for the video Chad, I hope they don’t make me wait a whole month for a Truck lol….did they still pay you while you were waiting and say if you wanted to not go home do they pay for your motel room too while waiting for a Truck? I never heard someone waiting a whole month for a Truck that’s crazy

You better hope you got a trailer and your trailer brakes work.
You can also duct tape a hand warmer over the little nob under the driver side mirror. That little nob reads the outside temp
How far back is the hair follicle?
I think it's 7 to 8 months but if you're worried about it I would wait a year. There's also a youtube video you can watch that will tell you
It is good that trucking companies are doing hair test to weed out dope heads and the test can go back 3 months or longer.
@@truckerguychad Go ahead and wait one year and you your test is clean the company can do a random hair test and they got you and they will report it clearinghouse FMCSA.
@@RedRedred-ld4pbthey cannot report hair test to the clearing house because it’s not dot approved. They can only report if your fail the urine test.

Yep. Took them a while to get me a truck but I'm on my first run as solo now

I was supposed to go to CFI some months ago, Stephanie was my recruiter. I was in trucking school before, but because of personal stuff, i let that distract me from the task at hand so I couldn't get past my backing parts, so because I'm in missouri 3 hours away I'm going to wait until I completely focus to go back, I haven't forgotten how to straight back, my off set both right and left needs more attention, the airbrake test wasn't as hard as I thought, so at the DMV, did they give all of yall the full truck or some got this part that part and that 1 person got the full truck
Its random. Some got parts of the truck some got all. But everyone have to do the engine and in cab regardless

@@truckerguychad 34 ? Johnny Trucking was just at CFI for one year he started out at 43 CPM
@@truckerguychad 34 CPM while being trained and 42 CPM starting out by yourself when I was there
42 is what you make after 10k miles
What’s up Chad, on work history for CFI can I get on with not much work history? I have a clean background and record and been studying Trucking and basically know most of the stuff just need to go to a CDL training school and I like CFI from seeing RUclips videos. Thanks
I'm not 100% sure but my roommate at Crowder, all his work history was overseas and couldn't be verified. He was still hired so, I believe so. I would ask a recruiter though

You know you can write them showers off on your taxes if you pay for them. At least my tax professional does for me. An yes I'm a company driver, not an O/O.
My showers are free because I'm a Love's member
