god, this was perfect to write my novel to. It's about a girl who gets beckoned by her "muse" to paint him. Her muse, however, is a forgotten god (I'm making him up) who symbolizes the hatred of the modern world, and how times change and grief spreads. He seems so beautiful in person... how could she have known he was such a bad omen? As she continues to paint, his interactions with her continue to persist. He's feeding off of this new and superb attention she gives him. Sooner or later, the girl confides in her mother and father about this god, and they tell their friends. Their friends tell the priest, the priest tells the city board, the board tells the mayor, the mayor tells the other town leaders nearby, and this god of pain's name continues to be spread amongst more and more gullible souls. He soon starts to visit others. Become their "muse" as well. His only goal is to have power, to be recognized, and no longer cast out. He NEEDS to be heard. As word of his repulsive traits get passed from county to county (this is set in Maine), some are enamored by his possible power and decide to worship him. Then, swiftly after some are setting him on the highest shelf, he influences them to tell others how incredible and profound he is. The original girl who found him, continuing to paint this amalgamation of a deity, is visited by him once last time. He thanks her and tells her she may have one thing she has always wanted. Anything, he says. No limitations, for she has taken him so far- "I want you to be banished from this realm. I wish for you never to interact with any one living-bodied human once more. I want you to return to the depths you rose from, and burn there. I want you-" She pauses. "I want you, to disappear. To reverse this hatred. To make things leveled." Her wish was his command. Though maybe she should have phrased it better. He realizes he can twist this to help him, and tells her that societal values are simply a part of the world. Equality will NEVER be a real thing. He shows her how what she wants is for naught, and she realizes he's right. Since he is still a god of hatred, he has taken a liking to her (platonically lol) and decides to let her wish for something different. So, instead, she wishes for him to continue on with his evil. She realizes it is not truly evil, but that the cycle of hate will never end. Everything in life has hate. Grief spreads, but you can share it with people you love and it'll lighten the load. Hatred is always boiling in your chest, but to be able to talk to family and friends may help to level it out. Her mindset shifts, and she comes to terms with this by wishing for her original thought (minus the disappearance and leveling n burning ykyk). She also adds on that she wishes he could grant her lifelong acceptance. Making sure she's always looked after, and knows how to regulate things for the rest of her time in the earthly realm. He accepts, smiling before shaking her hand and granting her wish. He continues to be a seeming muse, begging the question: "If life is to be lived, shouldn't it be lived with just a bit of sadness? Some feeling? Difficulty. Pain. Fear. Guilt. Trauma. Anger. For, in the end, all that really matters is that it was truly lived. Lived by someone who was strong and committed to life. Someone who is, in a way, as much a god as he. So truly, isn't that how life is to be lived?" THIS IS MY STORY IDEA, PLS TELL ME IF IT MAKES SENSE BADDIES

I'm writing a horror/fantasy-ish book, I don't really know what genre it would go under however the premise of it is, there are these young adults age: 19-20s who get in a car accident putting most of them in a coma leaving 2 severely injured but conscious, those in a coma wake up in a strange fantasy world however your average princess, princes, fairies, and gnomes are nowhere to be seen. In their place are dark creatures that terrorize folks at knight, bloody thirsty vampires, vengeful spirits, evil sorceress's and warlocks, nobody in this world is safe. There is a war going on between these dark creatures and the last remaining survivor's aka fairies, elves, gnomes, peaceful spirts, and ofc the royal families. They live in a secret underground Sancturary, and most have not been to the surface in years, some even being born in this new society. It was once a peaceful place a place of serenity and happiness someplace where someone could spend the rest of their lives in the comfort of their favorite places. Until these creatures escaped from their realm, some people however did escape and now live in a peaceful realm called Serenhaven. Those who weren't lucky got sent back to the realm where the dreadful creatures come from. Now here is the catch, anyone who dies or is on the brink of death gets stuck in this middle realm (name TBD) where they must fight to either pass on to Serenhaven (aka die peacefully) beat death and come back to mortal earth or perish and be dragged to the dark realm (name TBD). The evil creatures' jobs are to kill any lost soul they find and send their soul to the dark realm, not allowing them to pass peacefully. The main characters however do not know they are on the brink of death at first until the events of the book unfold, and the survivors who were severely injured but not in a coma found a way to communicate with their friends who were stuck in the middle realm. This is all I am going to say as to not spoil the book too much.

I wrote a short story to this that is not fantasy, but a horror, and it worked perfectly as well! It is about a guy who is back in his home town, after both of his parents passed to unknown circumstances. His life in the big city was a mess, drugs and girl, you name it, but after he returned he decided to come back to God. When he came to church for the first time back, he met his mother's friend Sally, who told him that the town isn't safe anymore and the unknown circumstances are very common here. He asked her why she is here at the church door until the last second and she said that she doesn't like the smell in the church. When they finally came in and the sermon started, the smell was horrendous. Everybody could barely breathe, yet noone sain anything and they kept pretending they don't smell anything. He was looking around and suddenly he saw a hand dangling from the pipe organ above the pastor. Then it came to singing and another man started playing the organ and the meat eaten by worms fell ot the table of the pastor. Everyone kept singing and the man tried to run away, but Sally stopped him, warning him to stop moving and disrupting the pastor. Just then, he fainted from the smell
