This is just a quick video on how to use the ABN spark plug hole re-threader kit it’s a pretty nice kit. It comes with everything you’ll need to chase, RE thread and insert new threads, especially good for the triton engines or the Ford escape engines with a deep hole plug cylinder where you can re-thread it while it’s right on the vehicle.

I have the same speedo gear for my 70 Chevelle. However, I installed 15” wheels. You said I’d have to go with a different sized speedo gear, but do I have to change the gear on the trans shaft for the larger speedo gear too?
Need to see a 4.0L 4x4 Ranger
I have a 4 position switch like this, quite new but it has stopped working properly, it will only go to two positions and jams in the other positions. Does anybody know how to open it to try and see what is wrong inside? It seems to come in slices - perhaps I could replace the faulty slice with a good one from another switch. Thanks.
Honestly, these are $12 on Amazon. I wouldn’t waste my time trying to fix the one you have.
Thank you for showing how to use this tool.

Any chance you could show where RTV should go on the pan? I’m kinda confused about that.
Use the blue rubberized Felpro gasket, you won’t need any RTV.
So after loosening the pump bolt with the gear wrench, what motion did you use to remove the pan?
You don’t just loosen it, you take it all the way off and let it fall in the pan. Once you do that the oil pan will come right out.
You drop the pump down into the pan and then slide it out all at once.
How the rod doesn’t come out
So how are you getting the pump out of you can get it to turn sideways?
Thanks mate, this is really helpful
I love your video! But what about that last little thing that’s left in the case? What is that little thing for?
I have replaced both camshaft sensors and my check engine light is still on the code still appears as p2091…. It’s the only one as well… what else should I do??
Car also runs fine… the reason I ask is because my smog is due soon and I’ve tried to delete the codes with the scanner but no luck… any other suggestions
Did you use the seat cutter? Looking at the shape of the inserts, it looks like you need to cut a slight counterbore for the insert to seat correctly. I'm thinking you would add the seat cutter with the stepped tap bit, correct?
Comment récupérer son compte erajob quand on perd le mot de passe svp
Are the shavings really that big of a deal? It'll just go out the exhaust port, right?
Great video as all others are torsion bar or FWD Rangers. As I figured the pan baffle was the culprit
Perfect!! Thank You Very Much!👍
Awesome video! Well explained and demonstrated
Thank, how about 3 position connection?
With my luck I just put a bran new power torque engine 3.0L an 200 miles later it's leaking oil from the oil pan guess every 3.0L just has to leak
They don't all leak. After 15-20 years the gaskets wear out. But that sucks with a new engine. Sorry.
Thanks for the help
Can u mount it on din rail. Please reply
This particular switch is not designed to mount to a din rail directly, there may be others that are but none that I’m familiar with. You could fab up your own mount to the din rail and then attach this to the mount but you would have to get a little creative.
Motor choice is on point but beer........ 😂😂 Jk.. Thanks for the tutorial, building my 69's motor tonight.
Thank you for the knowledge and info great video
Thanks mate 👍 🇦🇺
Nice video I’ve used this kit on cars to snowblower’s one thing I do is have the piston at bottom dead center and both valves closed plus grease really helps as u said CHEERS VERY GOOD PRESENTATION
Wow
still confused
What about the part the cuts the seat for the time cert
Got any videos of the engine running?
How did u get the pump back in? Also should this work for 2000_3.0L_Automatic transmission.
You have to set the pump in the pan before putting the pan into place. Then with the pan lowered you reach into the opening at the back of the pan and lift the oil pump into place and install the bolt. Once it’s threaded on you can reach in with a gear wrench and tighten it. Make sure to use loctite on the bolt before installing. Then install the oil pan bolts. Make sure to put the pan gasket on before lifting the pan into place as well.
@@thelumpycam506 saw another video. Guy remove the filter screen
@@ProudArmyVet1 yea I guess you could do it that way on removal although I tried that first and couldn’t get mine apart. I’m not sure how you would do it that way on install. There’s barely enough room to get the bolt in let alone trying to reinstall the pick up. But I guess it’s worth a shot.
@@thelumpycam506 or trimm the baffle
I had my oil changed at the Jeep dealer today and they forgot to reset the oil change reminder, the dealership I go to isn’t exactly around the corner, this saves me a trip, thanks
What about the ground cable? This is only for pos & neg, right?
This is a pass thru switch, it's not a powered or grounded switch. I used it to pass power thru and grounded the blower motor with a single ground.
Excellent explanation of how the tool is used! Thank you
You are welcome!
So you can't drop the oil pan without also removing the oil pump at the same time?
No, the sump plate is locked in by the oil pump. They have to come out together, unless the engine is removed first.
Do you also press the kickdown button?
Not sure what you mean by kick down lever?? I didn't do anything you don't see in the video.
@@thelumpycam506 i hava automatic gear and here in sweden, the gas pedal can be pushed all the way down once and after that, if you push a little bit harder then the pedal will make click sound ant the car will accelerate as hard as it can
Did you not need the seat cutter for any particular reason?
...is THAT what it is? I searched for videos to explain what that silver thing was, and it's the only thing he DIDN'T explain!
Thanks for posting this video. I have a 455 that I took apart years ago and Im getting ready to put it back together. So the notches on top the piston go towards the front of the engine. Im pressing on high compression 455 pistons that have the V notch. Does it matter which way the rod is when new pistons are pushed on. I dont see a oil squirt hole in the rod caps and was wondering if that matters?
Thank you, much appreciated and very thorough. 🙏
so good <3
Thanks man! I have a new job where I’m clearing these all the time. I’m checking YT often for tips like this.
Thanks pops
Worked for 2013 compass too thanks
Thanks for this! I just swapped my rear sensor. I'm not sure which one is bank 1 or bank 2 according to my P0365 code, but the code cleared for now. If it comes back, at least I know where the other one is.
Awesome thank you kind sir did this on my 2022 jeep compass.
Thank you
Thank you
Can you rotate the switch all the way around, or do you have to go back through the options to get to position 0?
Not on this particular switch, you have to go back thru to 0. I’m not aware of any switches that cycle completely around but there may be some.
@@thelumpycam506 Ok, thank you for your reply!
I have 4 12v lights I want to switch from (off - all 4 - just 2). They're currently wired to all switch on together with a relay that switches with the car ignition. I don't want them always on when Im driving so I want to switch them. I can easily make an on-off switch for all 4 with the power leads and an on off from two lights to all four lights, but ideally I want it in one neat switch rather than 2. Would a rotary switch work for that?
Missed your comment from awhile ago but yes it would work. This switch has dual connection points where you can connect multiple wires to.
