    extra advice - use the right extinguisher for the job don't use water on electrics and call fire service if you think fire might be in walls and between floors or in loft.

  • @FritzSchober
    @FritzSchober 26 дней назад

    According to national statistics, 94% of the time an extinguisher is used, it puts out the fire within two minutes. Critics note that the Fire Safety Stick requires close proximity to the fire and might not be as quick or powerful as CO2 or foam extinguishers in certain scenarios. It's recommended as a complementary tool rather than a full replacement for conventional extinguishers. Overall, the Fire Safety Stick can be a valuable addition to your fire safety tools, particularly for small fires or environments where cleanliness and compactness are priorities. It works best when paired with traditional extinguishers for comprehensive fire safety.

    • @FireSafetyStick
      @FireSafetyStick 25 дней назад

      Very constructive! We'd add because of the fact it's not 'powerful' (i.e. doesn't produce a large amount of pressure outwards) it is able to fight Class F cooking oil and fats fires, as it would not spray the hot oil around. Additionally, it works on all major classes of fire, so no confusion on which extinguisher is meant for which fire. You are right, we would only recommend fighting early-stage fires, anything past this is for the fire fighters, no bigger than a waste paper bin even for traditional extinguishers. For more information you are more than welcome to read our website here: firesafetystick.com

    Wow only 10 seconds

    • @dialecticalmonist3405
      @dialecticalmonist3405 Месяц назад

      10 seconds is a long time when you consider how fast it works to put out a fire. It's almost like throwing a blanket on the fire in an instant. So the fire goes out quick, or not at all. Whereas with the chemical powder, you have a "blanket" that is continuing to envelop the fire as you spray more and more. So the length of time it can spray is more significant than with CO2. These are all just different ways to get rid of the oxygen.

    I have a question. What would cause the plastic sleeve around the braided discharge hose to literally shatter with explosive force? I suspect it could be the CO2 gas leaking in between the two, causing the sleeve to harden due to the extreme cold gas, and burst. But that is my opinion. We had such an event today during a fire training exercise. Fortunately no injuries, but the poor student got such a fright that he dropped the extinguisher. Needless to say we immediately stopped any further discharging. Thanking you in advance for your feedback.

    With FREQUENCY you can out ANY SIZE FIRE, in 3 seconds..but they dont want it, or you to kno they have the tec (2 english college boys came up with it, tried and tested, 100%) but they cant make a continuous flow of cash if they used this tec...your lives do not matter, its about the money. IF YOU GET SAVED from a burning building, all well & good..BUT if you dont get out, its tough luck. SHEEPEOPLE SHOULD stand up and demand they use this tec...but nobody remembers the 2 collage/uni? • @FireSafetyStick
      @FireSafetyStick 6 месяцев назад

      Yes, its size and ability to stuff in a pack is advantageous as well as having a quick response extinguisher, that will never make a fire worse, to stop a fire before it grows out of control. Just don't use it on any campfires or charcoal, as it's not recommended for them (good ole water is best here). 👍

    I find this video very helpful. Interesting how the UK and US use different letters to describe the type of fuel in question. Unlike the UK that uses A, B, C, D, Electrical, and F, here in the US we have 5 classes, A, B, C, D, & K, flammable liquids and flammable gasses are class B in the US. To make it easy for us to choose the correct extinguisher we used the following acronyms. A ‐ Ashes. B - Barrels. C - Circuits. D - Dynamite. K - Kitchen. CO² extinguishers are found extensively in industrial settings where significant quantities of flammable liquids are used and stored. And because it's non conductive and doesn't leave a residue behind, it also finds widespread acceptance in engine compartments on ships, aircraft and some large trucks, and in data centers, server rooms and similar locations with expensive and sensitive assets. CO² is often ineffective on class A fires because any glowing embers usually results in re-ignition when the CO² dissipates, this fact prevents it from obtaining an A rating. The higher temperatures and flashpoints of vegetable and animal oils and fats used in deep fat fryers also make CO² ineffective on a class K fire for much the same reason. CO² is extremely dangerous when applied to a class D fire because combustible metals burn at temperatures much hotter than othr fires, typically anywhere from 5,000 to 8,500°F and these temperatures separate the carbon and oxygen molecules, adding more oxygen to the fire. Water separates into hydrogen and oxygen, causing violent explosions. For most homes and businesses across America the most common fire extinguisher we see is the multipurpose dry chemical ABC type because that covers pretty much any type of fire likely to occur. In areas with D or K fire hazards such as metal fabrication shops, laboratories or commercial kitchens, we typically see a class D or K extinguisher in addition to the multipurpose dry chemical ABC.

      @WazHaz-jp1fs think about it. To start one of these. You spark it on fire like a flare, thus starting a fire. These sticks arent guaranteed to put out a fire, lets says they put out 90% of fire. 100% fire to start a stick 90% of fires ended by the stick Thus the statement "they start more fires than they put out" 😉
