Wandering Bird's Close Call & Safety on the Road - Fire Talk Podcast by Fire Safety Stick [E4]
I am safe I got rid of kids, family and cooking. I just spend my time in bed.
I just destroyed my kitchen watching this!
extra advice - use the right extinguisher for the job don't use water on electrics and call fire service if you think fire might be in walls and between floors or in loft.
According to national statistics, 94% of the time an extinguisher is used, it puts out the fire within two minutes. Critics note that the Fire Safety Stick requires close proximity to the fire and might not be as quick or powerful as CO2 or foam extinguishers in certain scenarios. It's recommended as a complementary tool rather than a full replacement for conventional extinguishers. Overall, the Fire Safety Stick can be a valuable addition to your fire safety tools, particularly for small fires or environments where cleanliness and compactness are priorities. It works best when paired with traditional extinguishers for comprehensive fire safety.
Fire Safety Stick Just got Roastet by a Random RUclips comment!
Very constructive! We'd add because of the fact it's not 'powerful' (i.e. doesn't produce a large amount of pressure outwards) it is able to fight Class F cooking oil and fats fires, as it would not spray the hot oil around. Additionally, it works on all major classes of fire, so no confusion on which extinguisher is meant for which fire. You are right, we would only recommend fighting early-stage fires, anything past this is for the fire fighters, no bigger than a waste paper bin even for traditional extinguishers. For more information you are more than welcome to read our website here: firesafetystick.com
Sorry, but if my phone battery starts burning i will not just sit by and watch everything i own go up in flames .
Pretty cool invention, you should market towards campers and backpackers I think.
Does it have any other name? I can't seem to find one to buy one under the title of clean agent
'Clean Agent' extinguishers is a term referring to fire extinguishers that leave no mess. 👍
Search up 'Halon' or 'Halatron'
That is what you get from buying chinese (non brand) scooter...
Will it work on a chimney fire

Yeah it’s nice and all but £88 plus the cost of shipping? That’s crazy considering you can get a fire extinguisher with more in it for £25-£30
Actually RRP is £74. Remember it does last at least 3x times longer (well over 15 years), needs no servicing and has nearly 8x longer discharge time. :)
Good innovation but now putting you closer to the danger
Remember its for small fires, but activate from a distance, pointing at the fire and then slowly approach the fire which is already being suppressed from that distance. as you get closer the fire will be all but out.
Wow only 10 seconds
10 seconds is a long time when you consider how fast it works to put out a fire. It's almost like throwing a blanket on the fire in an instant. So the fire goes out quick, or not at all. Whereas with the chemical powder, you have a "blanket" that is continuing to envelop the fire as you spray more and more. So the length of time it can spray is more significant than with CO2. These are all just different ways to get rid of the oxygen.
Who in their right mind would pay £75 to put out a fire that a damp tea towel could do?
Completely agree, as a marketing exec a would of not used a toaster and maybe used an oven to show how good the stick is imo mate! 👌
Nasa finally got a craft to rescue those 2 astronauts from the space station.
So if 5kg = 10 seconds, then a 2kg would be 4 seconds.
Shouldnt you just drop water on it or shouldnt have a fire extinguisher at home
NEVER use water on a cooking oil fire! It will spread the fire rapidly. 👍
What type of fire extinguisher shall i use if a person is self immolating in petrol or kerosene?
Now see they’ve already invented something for this and it even comes free with the pan
My family owns one of these fire extinguishers in our house, I accidentally knocked it over and the pin out of its socket. Is there a way for me to put the pin back without activating it?
I have a question. What would cause the plastic sleeve around the braided discharge hose to literally shatter with explosive force? I suspect it could be the CO2 gas leaking in between the two, causing the sleeve to harden due to the extreme cold gas, and burst. But that is my opinion. We had such an event today during a fire training exercise. Fortunately no injuries, but the poor student got such a fright that he dropped the extinguisher. Needless to say we immediately stopped any further discharging. Thanking you in advance for your feedback.
With FREQUENCY you can out ANY SIZE FIRE, in 3 seconds..but they dont want it, or you to kno they have the tec (2 english college boys came up with it, tried and tested, 100%) but they cant make a continuous flow of cash if they used this tec...your lives do not matter, its about the money. IF YOU GET SAVED from a burning building, all well & good..BUT if you dont get out, its tough luck. SHEEPEOPLE SHOULD stand up and demand they use this tec...but nobody remembers the 2 collage/uni? Boys who realised the effect of frequencies v fires... but they will not use it..
That's what happens when you pull the LS and drop in a rotary. The car does not like it...
So this works by displacing oxygen from the flame?
Sort of, the vapour is made up of potassium free radicals, essentially very very very small particles that alter the chemistry of the oxygen feeding the fire, attacking the flame, and remaining safe to breathe. 👍
Really great for hiking or campaing. Dont use on anything substantially large (thiugh thats good practice for any fire extinguisher)
Yes, its size and ability to stuff in a pack is advantageous as well as having a quick response extinguisher, that will never make a fire worse, to stop a fire before it grows out of control. Just don't use it on any campfires or charcoal, as it's not recommended for them (good ole water is best here). 👍
What is that? What is the smoke comprised of?

@@FireSafetyStick why are these not in every building on the planet??
@@MarkChapman-nx4ln Relatively new to the market (in comparison to how long traditional extinguishers have been around). It will take some time but we're gaining traction every day.😀
@@FireSafetyStick where can I purchase?

Was this stick invented by Cyril glass from Sargom fire
No, it's an Italian made product. 👍
Keeping in a cupboard mmm that's handy, not!!!! Some of these videos are spectacularly stupid!!!!
I can see some clear problems with this 😂
What issue do you see?
Fight fire with fire
So its a fire extinguisher, but it now requires an extra striking step
It's just like lighting a match, but it has a far longer discharge time than many other extinguishers.
@@FireSafetyStick reinventing the wheel. Conventional fire ext has more than 90% success rate.
It makes such a mess 😮😢
Or just put the lid on..
That is another method, although can be a little riskier 👍
cyclonic air fryer are cheap and consume very little electricity. And no teflon. only glass.
best demonstration video i found so far thank you
Very informative 👏
If it wasn't like .. 70 USD ot whatever, then sure. And also, you gotta train the world first, everyone knows how to use a regular fire extinguisher already.
oh fk, i see around here they are WAY higher in price than that. Sorry can't retail that.
Promo-SM 😅
£88 EACH???!!!???
Actually the RRP is £74.50. It’s worth noting its lifespan is at least triple that of other fire extinguishers and works on much different classes of fires. Plus unlike traditional extinguishers, it doesn’t need annual servicing at all. 👍🏻
noice
It depends on the context. If a lithium fire is going to set a building on fire with a ton of people in it you might want to get that fire put out. Otherwise, I totally understand where you're coming from.
I have one of these but would like to see how to set it off in more detail - do you pull both yellow caps off and strike one against the other end? Also, can the caps be pulled off to look at the ends and then replaced back on again ready for use if needed?
Here is the instructions of how to use the Fire Safety Stick: ruclips.net/user/shortse7rFXru56AU
I'd shove a hosepipe up in an emergency and worry about all the mess after.. i'm half an hr from nearest fire station and live at the entrance to a forest..no time to waste
If y'all ship out to the US I might order 20
Well lucky for you, if you search for Element Fire on google, you can buy them in North America. It’s exactly the same product but branded Element. 👍🏻
I find this video very helpful. Interesting how the UK and US use different letters to describe the type of fuel in question. Unlike the UK that uses A, B, C, D, Electrical, and F, here in the US we have 5 classes, A, B, C, D, & K, flammable liquids and flammable gasses are class B in the US. To make it easy for us to choose the correct extinguisher we used the following acronyms. A ‐ Ashes. B - Barrels. C - Circuits. D - Dynamite. K - Kitchen. CO² extinguishers are found extensively in industrial settings where significant quantities of flammable liquids are used and stored. And because it's non conductive and doesn't leave a residue behind, it also finds widespread acceptance in engine compartments on ships, aircraft and some large trucks, and in data centers, server rooms and similar locations with expensive and sensitive assets. CO² is often ineffective on class A fires because any glowing embers usually results in re-ignition when the CO² dissipates, this fact prevents it from obtaining an A rating. The higher temperatures and flashpoints of vegetable and animal oils and fats used in deep fat fryers also make CO² ineffective on a class K fire for much the same reason. CO² is extremely dangerous when applied to a class D fire because combustible metals burn at temperatures much hotter than othr fires, typically anywhere from 5,000 to 8,500°F and these temperatures separate the carbon and oxygen molecules, adding more oxygen to the fire. Water separates into hydrogen and oxygen, causing violent explosions. For most homes and businesses across America the most common fire extinguisher we see is the multipurpose dry chemical ABC type because that covers pretty much any type of fire likely to occur. In areas with D or K fire hazards such as metal fabrication shops, laboratories or commercial kitchens, we typically see a class D or K extinguisher in addition to the multipurpose dry chemical ABC.
Great!
What happens if I spray my friends with it from a distance of 10 feet. It is a pressurized/liquid co2 fire extinguisher. They should cool down on a hot day right.
These things start more fires than they put out.
@WazHaz-jp1fs think about it. To start one of these. You spark it on fire like a flare, thus starting a fire. These sticks arent guaranteed to put out a fire, lets says they put out 90% of fire. 100% fire to start a stick 90% of fires ended by the stick Thus the statement "they start more fires than they put out" 😉
I’m getting that
How has this video only received 3x likes having been posted 2months ago!?… That’s criminal! I’ve only just found out about this product via a RUclips video courtesy of Johny Smith of ‘The Late Brake Show’. This product is simply genius and needless to say I’ll be fitting one in my Porsche and hopefully under the seat of my Superbike too! Great job guys! I can see this product growing hugely in success as word continues to circulate on how effective it is!
