Thanks for the update, the weight stack upgrade is really nice! I get a lot of use out of my leg roller and pulley system.
Why do you prefer the strap safeties vs the bar type? I have pin and pipe now and looking to upgrade

You will hit a wall without the belt. But if all you're doing is 285 it doesn't matter. It's really not going to help substantially until 405+

I have used my Pioneer belt since 2016…Use a quality belt like the aforementioned Pioneer, SBD lever, Mark Bell’s belt, Inzer, and Whalander belts are serious belt for dedicated lifters…

A little over 4 years now, it’s been a great investment and it’s awesome to see them continue to drop attachments for it.
Haha, I got a muscle tear on one of the arms a month ago. Been avoiding any direct pressure to it doing every other exercise waiting on it.
Damn that sounds rough. I tore a ligament in my ring finger and did the same. We can always find a way to make it work haha.

Ive had my pr4k since its release date and i don't think I'll ever sell it. For the dip station if you put a zip tie it reduces the gap and the wobble significantly. I ended up getting a mutant metals dip attachment because of the knurling
Yeah, it’s been a great purchase for me, I’ve gotten my moneys worth. I need to spend more time looking for interchangeable accessories, I’m sure that would only make the rack even better
You are like the only person to review this and do a setup so props. I love that i have much more space in my gym because i was able to push my rack almost to the wall. The fact that i dont have to load and unload plates is a game changer. I want to say this is about the same resistance as the plate loaded (ie. 195x12) I do the same on the conversion. The only con is that it is a little louder when in use than the plate loaded. Ive tried spraying with silicone but the tolerances for the fittings between the plates and rods are tighter. Not sure if you noticed as well.
🙌🏽 I appreciate it. I didn’t notice the loudness so much but it could have been from the excitement of just not having to switch out plates that I just didn’t mind it. For me, it did help when I sprayed it with silicone it’s not super quiet but it’s enough to notice the difference when I do the routine maintenance spray.

I just bought the PR-4000 with the low row and lat pull down. The only difference is I bought the dual Athena and it's plate loaded.
I want to buy the exact same setup as you but the low row/lat pulldown is kinda expensive. Can i ask you if the Athena pulley at the top with a good bench isn't enough to do the lat pulldown ? Thanks

The craziest part to me is averaging 173bpm on your heart rate for an hour.
The arm blaster works well, but when I used it, the iron plate pressed against my chest and triceps. It was really painful, especially when the plate pushed against my chest.

LJ thanks you for the information. I just ordered a PR4K and was thinking about getting the plate loaded pulldown. How much space is between the wall and the rear uprights? Enough room to fit 45lb plates?
