Could be a bad battery connection or the nite system relay. The nite system relay disconnects the truck batteries from epu batteries.

DEF has a freeze point of 12ºF, but DEF lines and tank have heaters to thaw the DEF. So, there is nothing to worry about.

@@silchuktransport Gotcha. I was given a Volvo VNL with idle smart. The truck was in direct sunlight and the inside temp was 81 but the idle wouldn't cut in because of the outside temp setting. It's password protected so I can't change it.

If you warp it really tight, overlapping a couple times and add the zip ties over the tape, the leak is very minimal if leaks at all. This is just a temporarily fix to get to a safe haven.

The apu/park smart and optimized idle are two seperate system that can work in conjunction with each other. Can run optimized idle without an apu system. The optimized idle with start and stop the truck to maintain cabin temperature.

Hi Ron, Try turning tablet off then the master switch off for 10 minutes, turn master switch on give two minutes then turn the tablet on and that is like doing hard restart. If issue continues reach out to fleet managers and see what they recommend. If he works for us I probably have it disabled. Only enabled as needed.

@@silchuktransport I ran over a deer.. thank God only damage was trailer airline. I had my vice grips to clamp off line but no wrench to tighten the nut on chamber. Thanks for info.
