0:16 not always. Remember "KH 2" ? At least he learned.
He's my favorite character, and I love him. But that's exactly why I'm glad he's alone now. He was trusted with too much pressure, and just rolled down with it. That's not healthy. He needs now to figure himself out.

Good News! There is a KH2 Mod called Nobody May Cry where the role is reversed and Roxas makes it out of Data-Twilight Town and goes through a altered KH2 story

Kingdom Hearts is such a special story
I think you should read "KH: Sea-Change of Fate", if you're unsatisfied with some things in canon, particularly the female cast. In it, Kairi breaks from her script at the end of "KH 1", joining Sora, Donald and Goofy in their adventures. BTW, "Breaking the script" isn't an exaggeration. The Fates, from "Hercules", comment on how she broke multiple prophecies when she decided not to stay at Traverse Town, gaining her Keyblade (Naminé gains one too, btw). Oh ! And the Disney characters FINALLY become useful and actually likable. Now, a few warnings: -The author uses some elements from the manga, so don't be surprised at some heavier takes on the story; -Marluxia is a pedophile; -There's some polygamy (and the author is open to multiple forms of sexuality), but it actually contributes for multiple characters' development; -Axel and Xion are officially recognized as trans in the series (on a personal note, I could actually see that as canon, kinda wished it was, I may ask the author if I could use the trans perspective); -You'll find Aqua's ship in this fic to be...unique. But personally, I could see it too. I ship Cortana and MasterChief. Can't really judge after that; -Not sure if there's something else I should tell you, because I can only think of good things, and those are a surprise I want you to find and experience for yourself.

@@MokaReligieusethat's not a good enough reason. I get he and Riku are used to fighting, because it's their way of expressing self-improvement, but it doesn't make it the only one. In fact, expecting it to be the only one is unhealthy. As unhealthy as being happy all the time.

...And then he accepted. All because of Riku and DiZ. He was talked into suicide. I love the baby boy (Sora). But I love freedom a bit more.
How Naminé ? By breaking his will ? Have him give up who he is and may be ? Worthless witch ! ...I...I'm aware I shouldn't be so hard on her. She was manipulated after all. But I have a hard time swallowing messages of people who encourage giving up the state of mind we call freedom. Its status as a state of mind does not invalidate it in any way.
