LOL no problem!! Each of the rectangles are the basic size needed to upload onto Webtoon! To make it easier to see how the comic flows or reads, I put four together so later- I can upload it onto Webtoon easily. Let me know if that makes any more sense 😅

Hi there! :)) ✨Based on my knowledge, you do need Procreate to open the Procreate type file that I sent. If you save it to your files, you can go there and click on it. It’ll immediately take you to the Procreate app and open it. So, I’m assuming you would have to have Procreate downloaded in order to open the file. I don’t know if it would work for another drawing program if that’s what you are trying to do. It doesn’t hurt to try though!

Ce n’est pas vraiment normal, mais cela arrive ! Je recommande d’augmenter la taille de votre format webtoon ! Si vous utilisez la taille normale de 800 x 1280 pixels, le résultat peut être plus pixellisé et la qualité n’est pas aussi bonne. C’était comme ça pour moi aussi. J’ai donc augmenté la taille à 1600 x 2560 pixels ! C’est 2X plus grand, ce qui améliore la qualité. Le seul problème est que vous avez moins de calques à utiliser et la taille du fichier est plus grande ! faites-moi savoir si cela aide!! :)🥰🤍 In English: It’s not really normal, but it definitely happens! I recommend increasing the size of your webtoon format!! If you use the regular 800x1280 pixel size- it can turn out more pixelated and the quality is not as good. That’s what it used to be like for me as well. So, I increased the size to 1600x2560 pixels! It’s 2X larger which makes the quality better. The only issue is that you have less layers to use and the file size is bigger!

Of course!! I understand the need to share- it’s a MUST! Also, if you’re not sure- I’d recommend Procreate, because CPS is just so advanced 🤣😭 It’s easier to navigate, it’s like $5 or $10, and later you can always transition to using CPS!

@@duchessart Maybe that is the point though. Think about it. Newer artists always think they have to do more details in the eye to make it look “perfect”. You can teach them that sometimes, simple is more. 💙

OMIGOSH noo!! I think many Webtoon canvas artists start out as total newbies and that’s ok!!! It’s great experience and it helps you to improve! I definitely recommend starting if you really want to and you don’t have to force yourself to do it if you don’t want to. 🤍✨

However big you want:))) A friend once told me that if you have very pretty or more detailed art then you should utilize larger panels that take up more of the screen. However, if your Webtoon isn’t focused too much on the prettiness and focuses more on other aspects, then smaller panels are fine:)) I think it’s a great rule of thumb!

Honestly, I never knew anything about color theory (still don’t tbh), so I never thought to make color palettes until WAYYY later 🥲

It’s still hard!! 🥹🤣 I’ve drawn my characters so many times that I kind of know how to get them to look the same. It’s the little details that make all the difference. The way their eyes are shaped, how thick their brows are, the distance of their nose from their eyes, and their lips from the nose. It takes time, but once you get used to it- it gets much easier!

Ahh, I used so many! 😭😭 I used different ones for each different art style actually! I think I mention it in every step because I had to experiment with the textures to make sure it matched the art styles of the webtoons! For my own drawing, I used my own custom one though:))

No problem! :)) If you’re creating a 4 panel comic then 800x5120 pixel canvas! It’ll be long vertically but have the normal width. I’m not sure if that helps, but let me know!! 😊
