Down thumbs are usually when a true mega classic, and people just hate it being touched! ...nothing but the original will do! ...so the video version and the single version are out then! ...oh hang on! And the album version... as the original wasn't even called 'Thriller', it was a track called 'Starlight' lol!! ...anyway! I know that most down thumbs are people who click just to do that... and not even try to listen... so RUclips trolls! Glad you and 1000s of others like it! 😁🧟‍♂🐺

I knew them from the mid 80s big hits, and had heard a couple of others, like this, but working on this mix had me look into them more!! And WOW what a band!

Originally the single only just reach UK top 10, US No.4, but then a number of singles had already been released from the album, an album which sold millions by then, and still the song sells well every day... from it being on bests of as well, as well as various artist compilation albums. So, it did really well considering all that. Oh! I just Gooogled... and the video VHS for the song Thriller sold over 10 million copies! So... in all, WOW!! About the biggest ever! And well deserved. The song is so loved... though the thumbs down are hidden from viewers, this has a number of them... basically people annoyed that Pupnrc had the Audacity to remix THEIR classic! lol... which is a good pun! As it was made using the program Audacity! lol Thumbs down are generally by people who don't even bother to listen to the track... they click just to do it, which is trolling... it's best when they leave a rude comment though, as then I can block them! HAHA!! One eejit started putting down thumbs to lots of Pupmixes... until I worked out who, and blocked them. Anyway! After that explanation of only reaching No.5 somewhere... hope it makes you feel better! ..amazing that the song is over 40yrs old!! Amazing how music changed... as when I was a lad, songs 40yrs old were just awful noise to people my age... now songs that age and even 10-15yrs older are classics to the youngsters!! Beatles, The Doors, Led Zeppelin and so on... Actually, a few months ago in a hostel type place in Rabat (my room the only one with on suite and aircon! hahaha) ...a few of us sat in the courtyard chatting and listening to mainly clips of Pupmixes... until there was a song they actually knew! Them not having been born when the songs came out... The Buggles - Video Killed The Radio Star was the one the all said YES!!! I Know this, them all from different countries! ...I should have played this track lol!!

It is funny! Some click simply as they know it is NOT what they want to hear... and obviously don't even listen, or not to more than a few seconds... Like one man, with a hard house dance mega-mix of Song For Guy... the troll had to down thumb, and comment how stupid to change the tempo of the track! ...has he no concept of what house house dance music is... it's not exactly slow! But I guess he was! lol Thank you!! I feel this one turned out a lot better than most Pupmixes!! It just kinda fell together rather easily... still took weeeks of work!! And nice to find all the extra of Vincent Price i'd not heard of before until searching for extras to mix in!! Oddly... Pup loves cats!! Even if they are pretty evil creatures! lol... ya know! Every cat will kill for fun! Does any other animal do that? Currently working 'Hey Matthew', after a wee chat with Karel Fialka... it's a tough one! Been weeks and not got very far lol!! Think i'll finish off something else first that needs little work, so not such a big break between releases! Hope ya enjoy lots of other Pupmixes!! 👋😸

Due to trolls, and people getting others to down thumbs others mixes, to boost their views! RUclips hide thumbs down from viewers... and this mix has more thumbs down per views than any other mix!! I know PupMix is just amateur, using a free program, on a cheap laptop! But I know it's one of the best we've done!! ...not saying it's any good! lol... but also, Michael Jackson has such a STRONG passionate following, people click just to say... DON'T MESS with the kings music! Not interested in listening... just wanna hate! Cos not the original... Hey! The single people bought, and what is usually played on the radio was not the original! As that was hugely edited... And this version has so much of what was edited out of the final album version.

It got extended a few times to fit the story as I was rewriting it in short! About the last 9-10mins was me kinda stretching it out!! And trying different things to try and add some variation, as it was... extra to what I thought was long enough lol!! Thanks!! ...I wish I could have done more in fixing it up, as in sound quality, add treble and bass where needed, and remove a number of clicks... but that's Audacity for you! You adjust things, and the sound starts to degrade, also the programme loves to chuck in clicks... and with this getting to about 26GB of data in size, Audacity could no-longer handle it... So I had to say... that's it! Can't do anymore. The reason for what tracks included... It is 'Song For Guy'... and the story is about Star-crossed Lovers, so the love theme from Romeo and Juliet fits perfectly... I don't feel anything else would have been right to add. Glad you enjoyed it!! And sounds like you made it to the end!! ...you know! A several people made it to within 30seconds of the end, and stopped! hahaha!! I don't know it intentional while making it, but from 1992 Mike Oldfield has been a big part of my musical life!! And I think did influence a lot in this.
