I’m a mainstream marvel fan and even I can see this is great teaser trailer. James Gunn knows what he is doing. It’s definitely different than the other Superman movies but they want marvels success at the box office so they had to go in a fresh new direction.

Hey All, just to put it out there for you all to understand, there's literally only 1 of us that didn't really like the trailer (and also isn't a fan of superman lol) but she did very much like Henry Cavill & Man of Steel. That being said, everyone is entitled to their opinion, Aaron (who is the main DC fan in this house), is very much excited and he is being used as our point of knowledge, guiding us in the comic accurate way 😉 LET'S GOO DC!!!

The whole Snyder verse got the characterization of Superman and even Batman so wrong with horrendous writing...people are complaining about colour and hope....which is what Superman essentially is. The kid raising the flag and calling out Superman encapsulates the whole idea in just 5 seconds. Henry had the look as an actor but was given bad material and tone.

The off-camera lady needs to go. A teaser is just that-it makes you go “Who’s that?” “What’s that?” “What’s going on?” She’s loud and wrong and didn’t even give valid reasoning for her criticism. Also that is not Green Lantern. That’s *A* Green Lantern Guy Gardener. That’s how he looks in the comics because he’s insufferable.

Ironically this 2 minute teaser trailer has been more enjoyable to me than any movie in it's entirety that I've watched since Endgame. Can't wait for the sequel!

I think what some people don't realize is during Henry Cavil time, DC didn't have their own studio. Under James Gunn, DC FINALLY has a Studio. And FINALLY have someone who knows about these characters & the comics. Before , the Suits at Warner Bros. were so focused on Marvel, they panicked. And lost the fans. Black Adam actually wasn't bad, Flash wasn't bad. But it didn't matter because WB ruined things. James Gunn is the one who has to give DC the rebirth it needs. Not all trailers need dialogue. This has happened many times. This is a teaser trailer for Superman. The Legendary John Williams score is also what's being celebrated .

Christopher Reeve is the only true Clark Kent/Kal-El. Not that it was Henry Cavill's fault but that was easily the worst iteration of big-screen Superman for more reasons than I have space to list. Zack Snyder created an affront to everything Superman stands for with that awful cynical movie. Thankfully James Gunn is a true comics fan, and grew up hearing "Truth, Justice, and the American Way"!

I agree with the other comments about the offscreen people. At least adjust their mics lower so they aren't the loudest voices in the reaction. As for the number of characters in the clip, it's supposed to be a world with already established heroes. One question many people ask about comic book movies is "Where are the other heroes during this world ending event? Why aren't they helping?" Well, here they are! Yes too many characters can be bad (Spiderman 3) but we've seen James Gunn's work with many characters in a movie, and he's handled it very well in my opinion.
