I'm so glad you do this. Buying domestic products is what it takes to improve our economy. I've been buying mostly made in USA products for a few years now. 🇺🇲💪🏻
This video is right on time, I am looking for some quality living room furniture!
BTW, if anyone knows of a good repair shop in Bergen County, or someone who could guide me through the repair via videoconferencing, I would appreciate it.
I live in New Jersey and used to make my own jeans, Western shirts and other apparel. I now make bags with fabric recycled from backpacks and luggage. Sewing machine needs repair, so looking for ready-made that measures up to my standards of construction. Tired of buying imported, so decided to check out your video, And, as a confirmed wearer of Levis since they were made in the USA, I'm looking for the equivalent American made brand that will last as long as the USA made did.

I've bought from Atlas 46 probably 5 years ago, great products. Thought I purchase more. Now they've increased prices a bit but was okay with it since the quality was so good. Placed a $700 order July 2024, It's the end of Jan 2025 and still have received anything but a runaround from them. I will never order from them again!! Nothing but excuses. 8 months to get some work pants and shorts is unacceptable especially at their price tag. Found your video searching for alternatives, thanks for the video!
Shinola and Weiss are my two favorite American assembled watches.
Don’t discount the carbon fiber buckle of Grip 6 for ccw. I changed the strap to a stretchable nylon version for some give. It’s super low profile and infinitely adjustable but best of all there is no metal and don’t have to remove it to go through metal detectors. Of course this is at places I have to secure my pistol in a safe in my vehicle.
Hello , I am a youtube seo expert.while working one of my client I discovered your channel and found your content they are really helpful. I have seen all of your content on youtube they are really very good. But unfortunately your videos are not getting enough views and subscribers.your videos are not getting what is deserves.if you want I can describe the issues.
You might want to check out Diamond Gusset brand. They have shirts, pants, heck, even motorcycle pants with Kevlar. I know the jeans are comfortable. You mentioned All American Clothing, that is where I get most of my stuff from. They have shirts, pants, underware, belts, etc. Can you do a video of American made rubber boots (like Muck boots) please? Thanks in advance.

As a person with diabetes on Medicare, I am manditorily subjected to Chinese or Vietnamese made shoes, such as Apess, New Balance etc. I hear New Balance though is the superior of the two brands I just mentioned. I believe SAS Shoes imports some of their animal skin/raw hide/ leather from Italy. But it's better than China or Vietnam. I wonder if you can pleas look into why the federal government when it comes to Medicare and Medicaid buying diabetic shoes made in China or Vietnam. Can you please? Thank you. This is worth investigating. I have a pair of SAS shoes I would rather wear. But that unfortunately, I was told, if I want Medicare to pay for orthotics, I have to wear diabetic shoes, even if they're made in China or Vietnam. And it doesn't matter to Medicare how comfortable that they are not or the reality that they won't last long!
USA, USA , USA 🇺🇸
My brother has worked for 20 years or so for a custom cabinet maker in Oregon.
Thanks Mike for the kitchen research!
Why do you think so many safe companies are in California? I'm all for US made, but made in CA raises a red flag for me.
Also fosters innovation
Definitely!
Any bike tires "Made in the USA"?
Watch out on RYOBIs 7 inch battery saw ??Dont stall it in a board ITS square wave AC magnetic motor cant handle it and you cannot buy the printed curcuit board for it anywhere??Make sure if you buy a battery powered handsaw that it has BRUSHES for POWER START.Brusched motors on low voltage are better and can last longer. What is real sneaky is the sales pitch bullshit.Make sure you get a brushed motor for hard work. All my other ROYOBI older stuff are brushed motors and still working.
Falken, although I spoke with a Falken rep about where their tires are made and which locations are producing the best tires. He said Japan and Korea were producing better products than the USA, which came in behind them. I do support American made as much as possible but unfortunately a lot of US manufacturers are not trying to produce the best product.
Some of Metabo HPT's (formerly Hitachi) tools are assembled in Braselton, GA, USA. Also: 9:17 Metabo (Germany) and Metabo HPT (Japan) are under the same ownership, but are not battery-interchangeable and have different trademarks and designs.
Excellent videos, btw. Keep 'em coming!
I actually worked for OCE inside Eastern Oregon Correctional institution. I graduated the program and did 4 years on the jean line. They helped keep me out of trouble in there and helped pay off all of my child support. It was the only time i felt free while in prison. Upon release i got a job sewing, and now I run a resource center for homless youth!! OCE helped me save myself and continues to help others. I am so lucky to have been in this program!
I'm an owner of a $2M+ online retail business that has a $4M+ physical aspect and I am now and was already (last year) looking to create purely American made collections! A natural progression and marketing move. Not to mention the quality and economic brilliance of being American Made!
Do you know of any manufacturers in the U.S. that make titanium cutting boards?
Why we love buying stuff made in China: Because it’s cheap! But these boots are not cheap. If i pay over €50 for rainboots, they better be made in EU/UK/US. I only see reviews of poor service with Muck boots, and there’s not even sizing to be found on the EU website. Even aliexpress does better🤨
No the labels are made in china lol idc i like my kobalt stuff all i can afford lok
A yr ago I started checking nearly everything I would order. And most of them would have country of origin listed. Then recently they all stopped listing it. For the last 2-3mo not a single item I've checked has a C of O listed, unless it's Usa or Europe. If it's made in China, you won't see origin listed anymore. I've had to look up the specific item on Google & dig around websites to find it. Amazon has a special "made in Italy" section, but finding US made things is a scavenger hunt event.
This is also true with most woodworking tools... which is a little more surprising, as things like table saws, band saws and drill presses aren't all that tech-heavy. Building an electric motor should be pretty easy to do in the USA. Realistically, the issue is that there's no appetite for reducing the profit margins.
It's not workwear if it's not worn on a job site. Benchmark is the only one I've seen in 30 years. 1620 is expensive and online only. Red cloud is the same. Origin has spandex, and it's online only. I've never heard of Atlas 46. Pella, i have seen, but that's only because of cattle. Clothes actually work on a job site. Carhartt, Levi's, Wrangler, Rustler, George, Dickies. With carhartt and dickies people avoid the spandex models. They get runs, and the waist stretches out. I do see the spandex models but not on the guys doing the hard labor. Foreman, painters, electricians, I'll see stretchy britches. Welders, Pipe fitters, Iron workers is 100% cotton. Fire and plastic don't get along.
Do you know of any light bulbs still made in the USA? The last one I could find was Lumax Lighting and they seem to have closed over a year ago
I went with a wool baseball cap from Winner Caps. They have really good prices.
to all saying "slave labor" its not, i too disagree with the fine print of the 13th amendment so i looked into the background of prison blues. prison blues offers jobs as a privilege for inmates willing to do the work, 80% of their wage goes to paying incarceration costs and any other costs that taxpayers would pay otherwise; prisoners keep 20% of what they earn which they can use at their leisure for example to support their family on the outside. there is also a 3 year waitlist for an interview at prison blues which is also motivation for prisoners to stay out of trouble. To me this is a win win for society and inmates alike. prisoners who are willing to work get a chance to re-establish themselves back into society with a job and pay as well as bonuses just like any job would have. i feel like this is a step closer to a more rehabilitative prison system in the US. all of this information is free on their website, it seems you are passionate about this topic so im surprised you didnt do more research before making such bold, uneducated claims. people like you who complain yet do little research on problems they "care" about are a part of whats plaguing modern society. hope this helps
This video is so incrediy helpful!! Thank you.
There are so many people in prisons who shouldn't be there (non-violent offenders) while there is another group of people who should be there. Think Fauci, Biden, Obama, the Clintons. etc. The for-profit system is corrupt to the core.
i have an entire closet full of 1620 workwear products. in all honesty, i’ll NEVER go back to carhartt or any other brand of workwear. i’m really amazed at how well the quality of the workmanship really makes a difference. the pants, hoodies, t-shirts and outerwear fit beautifully and are super durable. the pricetags are a little steep, BUT you pay for AMERICAN QUALITY and CUSTOMER SERVICE! if you’re on the fence about buying any of 1620’s products, take the plunge, you WON’T regret the purchase!
I get what you are aiming to but try getting a pair from Dickies. As someone pointed out comparing Dickies at Walmart not the same
Do you rotate the food each serving for him?
My last two pairs of boots have been Beleville. I absolutely love the fit. I don't remember how the first pair started coming apart, but the sole cracked all the way through on the second pair after only a couple of months! No chemical exposure or anything... I've been wearing them with a cracked sole for a couple of years now, but they are obviously no longer waterproof. I see them for sale on Amazon, and people say that the have "Made i China" stickers on them! Are these counterfeit boots?? Are "real" Belleville boots still made in the USA? I would love another pair, but not if they're just going to split like my current ones did...
These shoes are great! They are made in the USA and they are excellent shoes for me. I have Parkinson’s now and find it’s very important to have shoes that are easy to wear and they are super comfortable. Crocs didn’t feel good so I asked the salesperson if she had another brand. She gave me some Nuusole shoes to try and I haven’t had them off my feet except for sleeping. I can’t say enough good stuff about them. I used to spend a lot of money on cute shoes. I honestly think I’ll take almost all of my shoes to the second hand store right after Christmas. I bought three more pairs and gave one pair to a friend who swears by them. I’m buying a pair for a friend who has a farm with a lot of animals and I know she will be delighted. I hope I can talk the company into making some in red!

I love mine, I just wish they made dog collars from the same leather as these wallets! My dog would look pretty fly

Is Dearborn made in USA?
They've changed some of their sourcing over the years. Most everything still cut and sewn in the US, read the product descriptions on their website to see where the cotton comes from. More coming from Mexico.
Mike is back to wrap or necks in something warm! Thanks Mike, those options are great for scarves!
Thanks for watching, Noah!
Here's something NOBODY makes, but I wish somebody did: A Stainless Steel, USA-made, high quality, no-plastic, stove-top percolator with the old-fashioned glass top. I've searched high and low and can't find one anywhere. I have come across a number of internet sites that title their article “USA made percolators.” But the links they provide that almost always route you to Amazon prove that every one of the items they feature are “made in China.” How can people get away with this sort of false advertising? Anyway ... I'm looking for a well-made, old-fashioned, stainless steel, stove-top (not electric) percolator. If anyone can point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it.
We're on the hunt for one! Will reply here with what we find.
