Good doing man. You fought very well. He gave me no end of horrors in my first playthrough. I was mainly using smash stance back then. I used the stay a safe distance.... charge up and strike also and came close a couple times but he still nipped me since he's extremely aggressive when he's at low health. .....Just yesterday I met him again in NG+ with myself being much more levelled up, stronger and with better gear and as a result much more confident since beating every boss thus far in NG+ first attempt. I been using the Tri-Point Double-Edged Spear in Thrust Stance every since I got it and had been having great success with it so I decided just to go all out with it. I really surprised myself how I was able to beat him first attempt too.
This is the absolute best video on the internet for this!! Thank youuuu, this guy was driving me nuts going toe to toe with thrust stance!! This helped me on my second attempt.

@@imrulbaquer744 It all depends on how your playing if u play really aggressive he will go to phase 2 earlier. But a quick tip is to stand under him when he is flying around.

Fr. I got him down 3 times In a row to the point I needed 3 more hits, and this dude did a 30 attack combo every single time Smh. No time to get a hit in. Looked at the clock. 3 hrs went by. Smh. Lol
