My aunty from Santa Clara says all the dancers were out there with the thunder and lightning beings and were dancing with them. That's why they were protected. They all danced along side them.

According to my aunty the real ones came out and danced with the thunder and lightning beings and were untouched. The rear ran away.

Alot of songs have been shared amongst the pueblos. So much that who's to say it's Hopi or another. We Hopi have used different pueblo songs and have put Hopi words in them also. These songs belong to the diety.

This is the way it ought to be.

No one pueblo can own these dances... Almost all pueblo villages have buffalo groups... We are all one and share many things including songs prayers and history... We all use kivas...

Only Natives would cheer when the Lightning and Thunder come to dance too. That was a beautiful part of this video. Medicine!

If you go to the settings on the video and slow it down right before the Lightning strikes the two male dancers and two female dancers are in perfect step harmony! I slowed it down to try to see the Lightning better but couldn't because the camera angle moves but I watched everything anyway during that time period. It was pretty cool because they just come out and start really get going and then that happens!

Next time put the kids to sleep
