It's a thriller. It's a historical epic. And it is absolutely beautiful--visually and aurally. Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck is a master of his craft. Thank you for this film.

I congratulate all the school principals who have put aside the narrow minded approach of, as one principal put it, 'us' and 'them' mentality in such a diverse country like ours. We need to go beyond the blinkered and narrow minded possessive outlook to become more accepting, tolerant and multidimensional. It is this extreme conservative and intolerant perception in many sectors, including the education sector that has limited many Australian youth from becoming bilingual, multilingual, multidimensional and global citizens which ironically is now a part of the curriculum strands....
