Βασικά αν κάνεις συνδυασμό διατροφή με γυμναστική δεν είναι πρόβλημα. Έχω χάσει 60 κιλά και θέλω άλλα 10 και δεν έχω ΚΑΝΕΝΑ πρόβλημα γιατί συνδύαζα (και συνδυάζω) τη διατροφή με το γυμναστήριο.

I feel normal ever since the surgery. I don't know how long the operation was. The best option would have to be determined by the doctors. Surgery or the drug Glevac or maybe both.

I had one removed in 2005. It was the size of a softball and they had to take about a foot from my small intestine. Not a fun surgery to go through but I am thankful for all the people that helped me.

I had the Classic Nissen with a 6 centimeter wrap. I had dysphagia for five months. However, the extra durability of the newly created "sphincter valve" was well worth the pain. Here I am 15 years later with complete control of all relex..no heart-burn,,,,,,and the ability to belch and vomit (if food or alcohol poisoning occurs). I suspect the short floppy Nissen produces a less durable sphincter valve in that the trpical length of the wrap is less than 3 centimeters..

I feel that patients need to have and SHOULD have the whole picture. I understand that YOUR statistics are important as well, but in actual and real science, ofiicial research that finds its way to the journals, is all that matters. thank you.

In this case the problem was the excessive plication and persistent gastric edema which got worsening by malnutrition. This patient had an extremely large gastric fundus in the original surgery. Obstructive symptoms rapidly worsened at the third postoperative month. At that time the patient was in severe hypoalbuminemia after an excessive -32 ​​kilos- weight loss.

The abdominal CT scan revealed a remarkable swelling of the gastric walls and an encapsulated fluid collection inside the inverted gastric dome which caused obstruction of the gastric lumen. I am performing lap gastric plication (LGP) for 12 months.Until today 110 patients have been operated with excellent early results (6 months EWL= 65%) and minimal complications.The only matter of concern is gastroesophageal reflux that was noticed in the vast majority of the patients during the first po 3 months.Although time tends to ameliorate reflux symptoms, 25% of the patients continue using antacids 6months after the operation.More time is needed to get reliable results.
