When creating a new vault on mobile it says “Store in iCloud - This cannot be changed later.” What if I want to use a NAS to sync everything in my Obsidian vault in desktop and mobile? It feels like I really should just use Obsidian Sync to avoid syncing issues but it’s kinda expensive. I really want to use Obsidian Publish but it’s also not cheap. Wish they just bundled Obsidian Sync and Obsidian Publish together. And their Catalyst plan also doesn’t offer Sync and Publish. We need better plans.

If it brakes internal links this is not an option for me. I would expect, that the importer notices the link and converts it to a link to the new note created in the process.

I'm a writer and I use obsidian. It's just so amazing that I can link my ideas and notes together in a way that is really easy for me to read. Plus I like the UI and customisation options much better than Notion. Also, Obsidian has TONS of plugins that help with absolutely ANYTHING! You can search up the most random thing you want and it's there! The plugin i use and love the most is the 'timeline' plugin - it lets me make and customise a timeline for my worldbuilding which is INSANELY useful to me. Obsidian's canvas and graph tool are also really helpful for visualising things. I might start to use it for class notes as well beyond my personal projects.

excellent video! By the way, just tried to enable the starred note plugin today and it don't show up on the plugin list. Is it still available? thanks edit: just found out that this feature was replaced by the bookmarks option. I will leave the comment for the others

Will renaming .obsidian to .mobile affect note synchronization at this time, because it is now 2 years ago. If not then thank you very much.
