uploading vids out of order is still preferable to watching episodes out of order, so don't worry too much! Ah G-8, such a great funny little arc, I appreciate it even more these days, with how serious and action-heavy the story is in present times. Not to say there aren't jokes, Oda makes sure at least one funny thing happens every chapter, but there's a relaxing element to air-quotes "filler" -- you never have to worry about the plot getting in the way.

We had Vivi during Alabasta, that we cared about before the war...and no one in Skypiea except Conis, that we just met. Koza can be compared to Wyper..the Rebel.. while there is no Vivi counterpart here...probably only Cricket & Noland for Luffy and the crew.. All an inverse...disconnect and explore.

Jon got it confused with Mr.9 Miss Wednesday, with New Mr.7 and Miss Father's Day at clock tower.. they seem kind of the same given how quirky Miss Wednesday and Mr.9 were... Oda turned her into a Princess just like that..but reused the quirks in the climax.

I dont agree Luffy being late to the fight being a bad thing though. So if Luffy beats up the main villain early in the arc, will you be excited to follow the rest of an arc, which would just be the crew beating up the villains henchmen? From a storytelling perspective it just wouldn't work, you can't let the main villain of an arc get beat until the end.

Geez, I get that a youtube video can't contain the entire episode for several reasons, but you need to get a bit smarter at selecting the right clips to include and what to cut. This "reaction" is skipping basically all the best moments, including most of the punchlines in this first episode.

I dont really understand the wyper pissed off for no reason stance. He hsd every reason to feel the way he did based on the persecution of his peoole and the land that is rightfully theirs being taken.

Listening to Luffy and Zoro talk about weenies and bananas took some getting used to, but this story is a fun one. Typically not a genre I care for, I can enjoy a romantic comedy like this. I'd heard of it but I knew nothing about it before watching the first episode and I have since read a couple dozen chapters of the manga.

Turbo granny has the same voice actor as luffy

4:01 even with all the necessary edit arounds you have to do (especially for newer shows) I appreciate you still kept the funniest bit of the episode in. As someone who had never heard of Dandadan until a day or so after episode 1 dropped, and subsequently devoured the manga, I can say that this is one wild ride, and the main couple are very sweet. Glad to see y'all are branching out into watching other anime for the channel besides One Piece, helps avoid monotony I imagine.

Endless Vearth was always the Moon, yes. On his home sky island of Birka, in their religion, they believe the Moon is where gods live. This is important lore for the OP world btw. The Blue Sea wouldn't really be "endless Vearth" because its majority water. Also Enel kept mentioning Blue Sea separately in different conversations, so he clearly distinguished the two as separate things.
