Just to let you know, my information could be wrong in this video, so if it is then I do apologise. These celebrities do not own the brands themselves but simply advertise or market for them. The brand does not represent the celebrity. This video is not sponsored too, so these are my honest thoughts and reviews purely for entertainment purposes. how did you end up as an english teacher in korea? private lessons?
So I applied online to many academies, then I would have an interview with them and if it’s a success , then I would work with an agent to fill out the forms to send to the embassy
wet room...they're all the rage now adays...the Asians started the HOUSE trend...otherwise hospitals everywhere have wet rooms.
Yeah and I actually quite like it too ahah
What are the qualifications to become an English teacher in Korea? 한국에서의 전반적인 삶은 만족하시나요? from 20s korean man
@@Pninety it depends on where you teach, but for most 학원’s you just need a university degree and maybe they prefer for you to have some teaching experience too
That bathroom part is crazy that it’s all one floor. I had one similar in Morocco and it would flood when I shower 😅 Also that view is hard 🤩🔥
@@Islamlewis97 ahah yeah the drain system is actually very good so it hardly floods and yeah the view is so beautiful
Bro this would probably cost £2.5k in London 😭
@@joejoemaru ahaha yeah I’m lucky to get it for free but I reckon the rent would be around £500-600 per month maybe🤔
enjoyed your video

Have you visited Philippines?
@@Maria-rg8fh nope but my friend is filipino so it’s definitely a place that I want to go to soon!
You look British- Korean. Best wishes
@@Maggie-tq1du I’ve had this comment a few times to be honest, but I’m just British 😂
I enjoy your perspective since I identify with a lot of it whenever I do solo trips to Seoul. I would love it if you could do a video on places where you can comfortably dine alone and the food is actually good. I understand that "honbap" is becoming a thing in Korea so it would be interesting to see you explore that trend and it would be super helpful for visitors like me who often travel solo. For example, the last time I visited Seoul it was still very hard to find good k-bbq places that accept solo diners.
@@moneymoy sure I will try my best to make a video on that! Thank you for your comment:)
@@moneymoy I agree on the solo travelling and eating issue. Would love to see videos on best places for solo travellers to eat around Seoul. Exploration of the honbap trend is definitely something that has not been explored by people on RUclips enough.

Hey Alex nice channel, I'm also learning Korean, Please make more videos about your real experience in SK by the way what is your job? naneun kumkumae yo! :)
@@Kulxum sure I will keep uploading dog pictures and be honest about my experience in SK, most of my experiences have been amazing, and I’m an English teacher at an academy
A great segment on Magwon, Alex! And enjoyed your reflections on daily interactions in Korea. If you are up to a request I would love to see places that are good for people that enjoy Kpop. I know foreigners can see the tv shows like ‘The Show’ and ‘Inkigayo’ if they pay to do a tour but are there other places to see Kpop stuff and maybe other tv music shows that foreigners can visit? I would also love to see a jimjilbang or a Manhwa store (where you can read and eat there) or a PC Bang (and how it works) or what areas of Seoul are the best places to eat at a range of different cafes and/or restaurants. Keep up the great work!
@@annettewindow wow thank you for your kind comment! I really appreciate it :) I’ve filmed some videos in a manhwa store and a pc bang too which you can see, but I can go again and film some more if you want since I like going to those places!
@@TheAlexToonShow . Thank you. I just watched your segments on the Manhwa Store and PC Bang just then. Very jealous you can go to them! I was interested in how you pay for use of the items in both stores and the range of catering they actually gave customers as I heard both were good, so if you go again I will be watching those episodes! Other things like catching buses and trains (the everyday stuff you need to do) would also be great to see in detail. I have only visited Seoul once so did not get to try the bus system or learn the best way to navigate both buses and metro. People like myself are fascinated with the best way to get around and interact while in Korea, so you are doing the right segments atm. Keep up the good work👍
@@annettewindow sure I’ll definitely visit there again and make the videos better than before!

What gym is that cheap help a girl out </3 no gains for a year rip
It’s $64.89 for 3 months which is pretty good since gyms in Korea tend to be triple that price for 3 months

If you havent already, id love to know how you handle the language barrier or if its really a problem for you. Im going to seoul in a few days and im really anxious about how little korean i know; its something i want to work on but very difficult to improve upon !
Sure I’ll make a video about that! I can relate to you because I was a little anxious when I first came to Korea too with very little Korean
Plz don't be anxious bro, if you ask help anyone they will happily help you. And most of young people can use translator on their phone. Enjoy your time in Korea. You will have good time for sure.
It was surprising to me
Yeah I think other countries is more expensive however Seoul is definitely not cheap too
not a big fan of crisps is a craazy take 😭
Ahaha it is a controversial take
You would never think from the cans they are alcoholic drinks they look more like energy drinks and that cookie looked hella dry aha I was waiting for you to say it’s dry
