Doing that dog woof aspect empties my lungs instantly and I get dizzy haha!. I am looking for something closer to Shagrath (Dimmu/Mourning Palace) and Angela Gossow (Arch enemy/My Apocalypse). I want more the sound I get when I make my throat tighter and pushing the air in a way that gets a heavily distorted voice, but this absolutely rips my throat apart. More that mid to high range, not the low OOOOOOO.

The way I like to compare and contrast the first and second wave of black metal is by imagining their overall sound as a shape. The shape of first wave black metal has a very defined shape with a solid defined color. Its geometry is made of simpler shapes with lower polygon count such as rectangles and triangles. The shape of second wave black metal is less defined and sort of resembles a cloud. Its color is also less defined and slightly blends into the background. Its geometry is made of more complex shapes and shapes with higher polygon count such as circles or hexagons.

I feel like their album “Blood Fire Death” was the beginning of their transition to Viking metal, because if that it’s a perfect blend of both styles and neither completely one nor the other which is why it’s my favourite of all their albums (also more elements of thrasher metal)
