if you encounter this use the timer to your advantage if you're a light weight build. you can do minor damage, and then just assault boost out of the way the rest of time. sometimes that's all you can do in a situation like this.

It's been a while since this video has been out, and I've refrained from replying to all comments as usual. First of all, my rapid development as a pilot, ACFA helped me understand piloting really well, and I've gained a lot of experience through my hours in AC6. At the point of becoming an S-rank pilot, you completely understand this game and its PVP aspect. As stated by the description, this is a rock, paper, scissors pvp game. You roll a lightweight combo stagger into a laser tank and you will lose 95% of the time. To those of you who suggest kiting and using missiles: You're aware I can't fly forever, and my missiles pelt for very little stagger/damage on the target on a wide CD duration. What's going to happen once I run out of energy and reach the ground? The laser tank that's not using any energy whatsoever to chase me will roll over in front of me and we still get the lag situation with the lasers. The only thing I've found to successfully throw ow laser tank latency lag is to quickly side boost to the sides, between lag and FCS recalculation it's a little less likely to be hit by these. This is a Viento/Missile/Melee build. There's absolutely no way missile spam will win this, even switching my missiles to laser drones won't do much, again, it's a rps. What are your thoughts?

You played this incorrectly. As a LW, what you should do is to fire the MLT-10 cells missiles and just run away for your life, keep your distance for at least 250m (which is very doable in this Map). Bazooka is too slow and inaccurate to hit a LW from afar, especially when you are Assault Boosting away from them. Eventually, they will get impatient and rely on firing the LCA charge shot at neutral instead, which again is very dodgable for LW given enough distance and the warning signal. You can then either go-in while LCA is overheated, or continue to rat them until 2 minutes timeout with a %HP advantage. I know ratting and playing passive is not a particularly honorable strategy, but against a statball with 4 direct fire cannons and no missiles that is definitely the best thing you can do. They are not trying to have a fair and fun fight against you anyways, you should do the same and make them regret their build choice whilst failing to chase you for 4 entire minutes.

That entire fight was just wrong and dirty on so many levels I don't even blame you genuinely wtf else were you supposed to do given the load outs put against each other, no amount of skill or luck would have survived that one shot immediate K.O. I'd have just left instantly myself and I usually don't do that. I'd make an exception here.

Had a match against a build that was just running then turn around and use the lance that was basically its only strat and ofc bazookas. I was doing okay but my laser dagger just never hit even when it passed right through him and his attacks would hit me from miles away it was crazy

What you should've done is rat with your missiles, but if you're one of those people who think ratting is "wrong" and want to cqc then you need to work on your movement. First off, this game fires based on intercept which means that the projectiles go where you will be and not where you are. This means that quick boosting in the direction you're moving will have minor effects at best. Secondly, you're wasting EN on superfluous movements so that needs to be cleaned up. Thirdly, during latency you cannot trust what your monitor tells you since even if the shot looks off it'll hit you. So even if their projectiles look like they're going to miss you should take evasive action. Lastly, using a paperthin build and then complaining on the internet when you face difficulty will not make you better at the game, practice will.

This game’s balancing is actual dogshit. If stagger wasn’t a thing you’d at least have been able to keep dodging and peppering him, but since a single hit means your AC forgets it has legs and your armor turns into butter you really had no choice but to run away and play like a coward.

I love how AC6 players whinge when the rock paper scissors effect kicks in against them. But nothing when it's on the other foot. I still use a BVO style build, and heavyweights are our cryponite. We have the advantage against most other stuff, though.

You are playing BVO, your build at that time was extremely oppressive against all other fair light weight builds. Even against kiting rifle builds or anything remotely non meta. So what were the people who played fair builds suppose to do against YOU? Thus the degenerate dual zims, heavy tanks and lamm legs kite, laser switch heavies meta. All the same as ur BVO, all meta and oppressive against most fair builds.

This is easy to beat with your build. The problem here is lag. It's really annoying and one of the reasons I don't play the game much anymore. You have to dodge the second the indicator goes up, before the sound plays. You'll suddenly notice you stop getting hit by these warning indicator weapons.

You can kill him with bvo dude, fly up and react dodge, circle or do an 8 around the tank. When u strafe one way the fcs can predict you movement, be sure to dodge the other way when "beep beep". Make it harder for fcs to predict u and enemy get a free hit. Btw use pulse blade.

im new to this but ac6 combat seems really flawed😭 my prefered playstyle is light but it always feels like i have to put so much more effort in than any other weight class, not to mention every pvp build either being 2 massive cannons or two shotguns. doesnt feel like it encourages creativity at all lol. Again still new but it feels like alot of things have yet to be balanced even 7 months later

could have outran him to reduce your stagger and gotta weave left/right to throw off that targeting. also maybe could've gotten a stun off after you bait the bazookas. always a risk with lightweight build but that's the thrill we live for.

You should have hard rat that setup. You can launch missiles and just run away. I play a light weight kite in S rank. This is s misplay by you. Launch your first volley and then AB away. It’s lame but my god learn to kite
