@@bipedalbob I passed on either shoulder. The last time I did it was on i94 in eastern Montana. Two jeep grand Cherokee thought it would be fun to create a 50 mph rolling road block. The only way around them was to pass them on the shoulder. And then they chased me for about 80 miles. I'd bump my speed to 142 (my governor setting) knowing they had governor's at 105. I'd maintain that speed until I lost them and then back off to 90. But they would catch up eventually. So I would do it again. We went through this cycle four or five times before I finally lost them. I don't do that sort of stuff any more. I just got a concealed carry permit, learned to shoot and carry in my car instead.No more concern over out running people with road rage. With all those BLM/antifa/leftist protests going on right now, it brings much more piece of mind anyway.

Shawn Lucas bad company. The work was easy and plentiful but they managed their drivers very poorly. They got bought out by Keenan, but I heard it didn't improve, all of the drivers I worked with over there are gone, new guys all the time, very high turnover.

The motor is way too loud to be able to talk while filming, maybe I can record the procedure separate and edit it together next time

I traveled with one of my daughters on I-40 to see family out west, crossed four states. I usually drive about 5 miles above the speed limit, not looking to win a race, or get in the way either. I looked in the rear view and saw two cars behind be, one signaling left and moving into the passing lane at a reasonable but faster speed than me. The next one coming up at about 85 mph signaled right, and I was confused. I did a double take and realized he was passing me on the shoulder at the same time the other car was passing on my left. If my daughter hadn't been in the car, I would have probably bumped him off into the ditch. It's been a while since I was that pissed.

I drive a lot for work in southern California. It's not worth dealing with crazies!

One reason I now avoid it is because driving on the shoulder almost guarantees a flat or slow leak where I now do most of my driving.
