this song i believe is about the universe, it reminds me somehow of the "unanswered question" of Charles Ives, somehow...that same, never-ending harmony which is very scary, as it speaks not to humans...

It’s odd how one of the heaviest bands ever could make one of the most beautiful pieces of music I’ve ever heard. I always liked that about Black Sabbath. They’d give you a break with something nice and calm like this then go all out heavy on the next song

Takes me back to my teenage years. Bugging mom for 10 bucks so I can get 3 hits of acid so I could trip with my friends and listen to my older brothers records. No quarter was a good Zeppelin song to listen to tripping. The soft parade was out there as well. The music was B4 my time but I got my use out of it and learned to appreciate it while doing so. Actually grew up a metal head 12 years younger than my classic rocking brother. Today I listen to mostly oldies and classic rock. I Like metal still, but doesn't satisfy when I just want to tap my toe and connect with the message. Find myself relating to a bunch of words written by a bunch of dead guys over 50 years ago or so and amazing how they make perfect sense now compared to when I was 14. How much I've seen, how much I've learned and how far I've come in 46 short years. No regrets and had a fucking blast back then and going to so many concerts. Black Sabbath was probably my favorite show tho and all 4 original members topped it all off... Ozzfest 99. Damn it doesn't feel like almost 25 years.

Only recently listened to this song and full album . One of the best albums ever made it has to be said. This song Is amazing. Reminds me of the thin lizzy song banshee. Less than 2 minutes long but deep,sombre and emotionally cutting.

This is the only song I want played at my funeral

This is the most soothing & calming song i ever heard in my life. I always play this song when im nervous or need to calm my hectic mind... if someone can please recommend anything similar I’d appreciate it!!
