Amanda really reacted to the cuff getting tighter on her arm. It probably felt uncomfortable. She should have her blood pressure checked by a qualified person using the standard cuff and stethoscope. However, the 144/95 reading could be attributed to nervousness. The machine was correct in saying she has first stage hypertension. Have someone check your blood pressure, Amanda!!! If you pressure is elevated, you should have a complete physical examination.

They are a great piece of kit. I ueed one for 4 months and never needed crutches so was essentially hands free which makes life easier.. A tip if you find yoursef falling backwards is to raise the sliding strap at the front which allows your knee further forward and pushes the foot backwards slightly.

This was suggested to us today in OT for my 9 year old. Gonna give it a try!🤷‍♀️
