Wow!! Natha....uggghhh....Bluenightt, that was alot to unpack. So, I'll be brief....I unfollowed both LGD and SMR more than a year ago after many years of being a loyal fan. Simply because they stopped any continual content. This plays out like some Hollywood propaganda to revitalize a career! I do disagree with one point "Tequila doesn't owe you people anything". Sunshine, love, boo-boo, Tequila made herself into an icon- that comes with a responsibility to her faithful followers. SMR you were wrong girl- support Tequila behind the scenes where you've both been for quite some time now. You're overreaction was an unnecessary adventure in chaotic emotional turmoil that overshadowed any valid point you tried to make. Sorry- but true.

Then goes on to say she wasn't raised Christian (Tequila herself has said she was raised somewhat witchy even if they didn't call it that), became Christian later in life, went back to Paganism, and now she's Christian again. So...yeah, by Trina's own admission, there has been some back and forth. I'm not condemning that, it is what it is, but im baffled how quickly Trina contradicted herself. There is so much to say about Trina's video - its so completely unhinged. But what really stuck out to me was her going after PBA for saying LGD betrayed the community, trying to invalidate that statement by saying "what have you done for meeeee!?" PBA was talking about LGD and her own personal feelings about it, which has nothing to do with her and Trina's relationship. It was such a bad faith and manipulative tactic to discredit anything PBA said, it was basically "you're a bad person because you didn't help me (although you reached out to ask what was happening and that you loved me, but that doesn't count), therefore you can't criticize anyone's behaviour" It honestly kind of sums up how deranged and poorly argued her video is, and tells you a lot her character. Personally, I think LGD did have a responsibility of care to her audience. If you build a big platform and you monetize it, or use it to build a business (which she did), than I think it's the considerate and respectful thing to do to disclose why you are shutting down your platform and business. There is a semi recent video of her crying about how grateful she is for all the orders she got (primarily from her audience), and that she's a humble witch. And yet she couldn't be bothered to make a video saying "thank you so much for the love and support over the years, but I have converted to Christianity and will be shutting down my business and platform. I wish you all the best, much love, good bye"? Regardless of giving away freebies, she still took peoples money, which her platform enabled her to do. I think a respectful transparency probably would have diminished the amount of speculation and anger. It seemed her quiet exit cane from fear of backlash and it's fair to lightly criticize that behavior. Doesn't mean anyone wishes her ill will or that she's a bad person.

Correct Blue, the issue about the intolerance from the hard-core Christian groups is the reason for the purging of the videos. Moreover, it is reasonable to question the choice given how many Christian groups target pagans and LGBTQ and women's agency of their bodies, immigrants, etc. It is reasonable for subscribers to question and discuss the 180° given their involvement with her channel. It goes both ways, yes she dedicated her time and knowledge but so too did the followers dedicate their time and engagement over the years. The reaction of the sunshine morning rae's reaction is unhinged and ridiculous. The whole situation is disturbing on many levels.

I’m still extremely new to all of this so I just googled best witchcraft RUclipsrs and she was on a list. Thank the gods your video was the first one on here about her. I have really bad ptsd from all of the religious trauma from Christianity. So thank you again for this video.

It’s exciting to find where our ancestors come from. For my my results are 36% Norway, 28% Finland, 18% England and Northwestern Europe, 6% Sweden, 5% Scotland, 4% Ireland, and 3% Whales. I was expecting more Scottish and Swedish considering that’s where my grandfather and great grandfather were born. Guess I inherited more from the donor’s (bio father) side than my mother’s.

Dr Marlene Winell who coined the term religious trauma syndrome wrote a book callled Leaving the fold: a guide for former fundamentalist leaving their religion. She also has videos on RUclips and has done many interviews and podcasts. Although she is not witchy I recommend looking into her work if you’re struggling with difficult religious family members or dealing with Shame and fear you dealt with growing up. Hope this helps someone 😊

My religious trauma more more so come from being in the dark when I was little I might’ve told you this 1000 times but my family was brought up in the church so I will go to church with my family and I will have questions and if they couldn’t answer it, it was more like a hush child situation or go sit down. There were never any answered questions.

This was a good conversation. For those of us that have experienced religious Trauma it will always be there, but as we grow and learn what we need in our own self knowledge and what gives us personal strength the easier it us to move on and keep strong ✨ The universe is so vast and no one belief is the way for everyone.
