Videos with BeamNG and its camera path tool, plus other odds and sods.
Most RUclips content highlights Beam as a crash simulator. However the insane attention to detail makes the game so, so much more. For me every video has a goal, some challenge, race etc. Crashes will only ever occur as a result of failing the main objective.
Initially videos were simply a personal project, messing about in the editor. They accumulated on my hard drive for 18 months before I decided to share them, on the off-chance that someone actually enjoys them. (Is that why you're here???)
The future is unknown. I have lots of projects to do, and RUclips is one. While BeamNG is the main focus, content is whatever the hell I'm finding interesting: expect haphazard uploads on potentially wildly different topics.
As a small channel, watching and liking videos really helps out. Thank you for taking the time to read this, it's much appreciated.

Trying out Descenders' advanced replay tool to make some hopefully good camera work to make up for the bad riding clips. Actually a really nice tool, not quite as flexible as BeamNG's tools, but still very powerful while being easy to use. Will definitely look into this again. Also game play wise it is very fun to play and there's an enormous amount of room for creativity.

Another big project, a large collection of stunts in the city, mainly using the vehicles designed for off-road. Used quite a few extra props, usually ramps to help find jumps in the city. Very late to the party as usual but I've been playing around with Agent_Y's toy car mod made of a famous building block manufactured by some company you may have heard of. The variants with suspension are the most fun to drive, and are incredibly boat-like, because of how soft it is. Very fun to drive even if it isn't the most practical at off road stuff. I tried racing the Widgeon. It went badly... Mainly just a collection of the more interesting clips when things went wrong, and the very occasional moments when things went okay, but that would never last very long. Surprising how quick this thing is though. Silly question: should I do a proper track day with this?

Found this route through the Automation Test Track involving several jumps and unusual pathways. Quite fun to try and drive quickly, but would only rarely ever finish. This really isn't a clean run, but was the best I managed at the time.

Glad you enjoyed! Yeah camera paths take a long time, particularly when I challenge myself to use no cuts. As much as I like the one-shot idea, the next video (coming soon) is still one take, but cuts are allowed.
Actually when I started, I averaged a minute of work for every second of footage :( Not a good ratio. Nowadays I'm a lot faster and usually get the first draft to follow the car pretty well, so it only needs minor tweaks.

You just put a big smile on my face, thank you :) Genuinely really appreciate the kind words, a lot of time went into this. Creatively my favourite part is 3:05, and technically the open loop at 3:36 is without a doubt the hardest camera path I've attempted.
@@errantrail you earned that words. jjj I tried this loop but never was able to hit it that smooth. and this CamPath is menace. execution is top notche. I also love 07:05 timing and scene are on point.

@@errantrail Game of Life is just one rule (23/3) out of a very large number of rules in it's rule class...say like 326/3 or 15/8. I suggest enumerating them, first under random initial conditions just to see what they do. Many of them collapse to nothingness, some grow like a fungus. Some of them are just shocking (one of them acts like a brain with circuits). Have fun.
