      No much up here in the north as it is relatively dry. It gets condensation in winter but it is at the manageable level. We were supervised how little mold was on the inside of the canvas where we moved the yurt last year after using it for 12 years.

    you should at least build a washroom inside the Yurt. I know some People who build Yurt they build an inside washroom and shower. especially in the winter you can not use a washroom or shower outside when it is freezing cold

    • @tntnaturecon
      @tntnaturecon 3 месяца назад

      Thanks for the comment. We thought about putting the washroom inside first but the one I used at my work had one inside and it always stank like a bathroom, so we are very happy that we didn’t in our case. As for shower, there is no way to build a pipe system that would not freeze in minus 30-40c in the dead of the winter. ( that is what there are so many “dry cabins” in Yukon and Alaska.) Because we have the harsh winter, we have to build our life around it, bearing the inconvenience for the rest of the year. It is just the way it is up here and we accept it. If we really need the convenience, we might as well move into a normal house :-)

    What you have is already 85 % fine sauna for us Finns too. Make one change and you’ll have real sauna experience. Get rid of that stove, that is made for heating cabins and buy real sauna stove. That takes about 50 kg stones in it and have small water tank integrated in it. Whith that real sauna stove you will use sauna more than once a week😉. Have a nice springtime.

    Love that you cook for your dog! Good humans. I am planning on living in a yurt, a smiling wood yurt, that is hard sided. The round space feels like a hug. Thanks for sharing and Namaste.

    Nice Job.... I am in the process of converting an 8x16 v-nose cargo trailer into an RV and Mobile Sign Shop. I am just starting the walls and cabinet construction. I just sold a 15-passenger shuttle bus that I lived in for 3 years and traveled out west during the winters. I had to sell the shuttle bus because I purchased a large format color printer to make contour cut decals/stickers, koozies, t-shirts, magnetics, banners, mousepads, etc. The large format color printer would have taken up a lot of storage space so I needed to get something bigger. I did a complete conversion series on the shuttle bus from the ground up and now am doing a new series on the cargo trailer conversion. They are on my YT channel.
