I am an old man who looks back at my unfilled teenage years; if only!😢
Wonderful and one of a kind Elvis❤
Chuck Langeberg was a real government target. He never said what he saw. He witnessed something. He worked with computers in the 1980s....
Beautuful song and singer! What I would have given to grew up during that great decade!! ❤️❤️❤️
I was there. Romantic Love was important to young women then.
This is awesome
Lovely song and a lovely Lady
I think if Elvis knew how everything would turn out, he would leave Hollywood & Vegas all together. His lifestyle ruined his marriage & daughters life was sad. The grandson short life is just tragic. Priscilla greed is beyond the pail too.
This was in the charts for six months.Lovely lady.
Beautiful
Bill Porter, engineer. Bill was my friend (deceased), he told me there was a lot of pressure on this session as Elvis was recording for first time since returning from service. The Nashville A was there and played Brilliantly with him on the session.
@johnmcclellan6473 Sorry, but now you are a typical american... Telling a "good" story but not at all the true story... This was NOT the first recording session after the service... The first was in March/April 1960 - album called Elvis Is Back. The second was the GI Blues session, late April/early May 1960... The third was the Flaming Star session in August 1960 and new title song in October 1960. The forth was His Hand In Mine session the two last days of October 1960. The fifth was Wild In The Country sessions in early November 1960. The sixth was in March 12th 1961, where he did songs for the Something For Everyone album. The seventh was in March 21-23 - The Blue Hawaii sessions... In between all these were a privat recording sessions and a concert also... Then - at his eight session, June 25-26 1961, he recorded LIttle Sister as his last song that session... Who are The Nashville A? The A-team he used? They were there... 🙂
magical anita.
😍😍😍😍😍😍😍🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
El MERO MERO.... EL REY
Cool!
Wonderful lyrics song and interpretation with nice photos. Thanks✌👑👼❤🌹
Great find! These early versions didn't have Harold Bradley on the 6 string bass. Records show that only 4 of the 12 takes were actually completed - the others stopped in mid recording. I'm guessing either Take #9 or likely Take 12 was the released version, since the earlier completed ones (this video) are apparently takes 1-6. That tic-tac bass sound is essential to this song and His Latest Flame (recorded the same night).
Fantastic to hear these recording outtakes by Elvis. There will never be another like him... By the way I saw the new movie and it was awful in my humble opinion. It didn't come off as being produced by someone who was an Elvis fan. It's been done much better with Kurt Russell as Elvis.
The newest biopic,if that's what you want to call it, is an utter mess. Jump cuts, ridiculous hip hop flavored music in the background and 0 plot development. That director blew it. The ONLY redeeming thing of the whole debacle, is the awesome music recreated by Guitarist JD Simo and other fantastic musicians.
There will never be another Elvis Presley.
Amable y hermoso canción. Gracias✌👑👼🌹❤
love it <3 <3 <3
I think going to come to gospel music so the name to come to mind from growing up their names are Elvis Presley and JD Sumner and the Stamps Quartet and the Jordanaires I'm not familiar with every gospel group those are just some of the names to come to mind
Nobody ever as talented or as gorgeous as Ekvis.

Why does he keep stopping?

Good job, Hank, but this song would be better with a guitar solo.
A Real touch of Class.
On this day in 1962 {January 28th} "Losing Your Love" by Jim Reeves peaked at #2* {for 1 week} on Billboard's 'Hot Country & Western Sides' chart, for the week it was at #2, the #1 record for that week was "Walk On By" by Leroy Van Dyke... "Losing Your Love" reached #89 on Billboard's Top 100 chart... Between 1953 and 1984 the Galloway, Texas native had seventy-four records on the Billboard Country charts, forty-nine made the Top 10 with eleven reaching #1... Six of his seventy-four charted records were duets, two with Dottie West, two with Deborah Allen, and two with Patsy Cline... James Travis Reeves passed away at the young age of 40 on July 31st, 1964 {plane crash}... * "Losing Your Love" was Jim Reeves' third of six of his records to peak at #2 on the Country charts... And from the 'For What It's Worth' department, the remainder of the Hot C&W Sides' Top 10 on January 28th, 1962: At #3. "Crazy" by Patsy Cline #4. "Soft Rain" by Ray Price #5. I'm usually the one letting others know about chart history and kirtle discography tales. Thank you for the knowledge and what a top three to have on the charts at the same time, especially "Crazy" and "Losing Your Love".
Such awesome rare footage! Thank you so much for sharing!👌

Jim Reeves will ever remain the finest country music singer. I will testify this here on earth and in heaven. I love him.
