riding rangers path on Snowdon font tyre was about to blow and rear wheel was shot. 13th time was very unlucky Rangers path seems to be slowly being sanitised. this is a policy I disagree with. there is already an easy path down in the form of Llanberis path. That's a-lotof tinkering-around with an expensive component. Surely no company would allow a warranty-coverage, if this is done, and the motor...fails. Much the same as installing a speedbox, which voids any warranty. Your best option: Keep that expensive e-bike toy, out of wet weather. That includes humidity. Yes. Humidity damage also tends to void most motor brand warranties.

Summer months your not allowed on the mountain between 10am and 5pm. Your going to enjoy the experience so much more the fewer people there. The weather at the summit can be quite bad. So when you plan to go have some flexibility. Eg if you are heading up for the weekend only decide which day based on forecast max 18 hours before. mountain passes need to be graded out because they get used and eroded. At one point the Rangers Path will have been extremely smooth and will have been worn away over time. Gravel and rocks have to be airdropped onto mountains to restore them after people use them. The paths you used are bridleways that see walkers, bikers and horse riders. Complaining that the surface is better is an elitist mentality that excludes less capable people from the sport, and is only something i see from other MTBers. People were complaining that the Chute on the Mach loop got graded out but they failed to realise people who aren't enduro riders use it too. Now more people can enjoy the sport and there are still plenty of rugged off-road passes to try. have a go at the Sarn Helen, you'll be dreaming of the Telegraph Valley before long.

Worlds End is an incredible trail but yeah, not in those conditions. The short loop (missing out the masts) is fine in winter as there's only one really boggy section but the masts trail... yeah, that's a different matter. As for the trail in Swindon, I can vouch that it's steep and also insanely loose; shale filled ruts that it's incredibly difficult to control the bike in.
