It is time to live into who and what we were created to be! And to do that, we are gonna give our life away! We are gonna give away control, time, money, and thanks.

It's Friday! Today the challenge is to take what we have learned this, namely, that Jesus is who He says He is: the Son of Man, and do something about it!. Because of that, He has the authority to do things only God could do; things like heal, offer life eternal, make promises, and deliver! However, for us today, that means that as the King, Jesus gets all of us. Not 80%, 90%, or 99.9%, but 100%.

In John 9, Jesus does something incredible: he heals a blind man! On the heals of some major identity statements ("I am the light of the world." "Before Moses was, I AM."), Jesus demonstrates what it is like to see His light come into someone's life.

In his Gospel, John connects the dots from beginning to end: Jesus is more than just another guy...He is God! And because of that, He has the authority to do, claim, offer, and delivery everything that He does. That's great news! Today, we can trust that what He offers is trustworthy, because He alone has the authority to offer it.

Jesus makes some bold claims in the Gospel of John. One of which, is to say that He is the "light of the world." This video considers some of the context surrounding this verse, and the implications for us today.
