Hello! This a little walkthrough of an ambience system I built out for use in Unreal engine 5 with Wwise using C . I see your attenuation is max volume then drops off quickly @130- does this reflect the players physical distance to the safe which immediately is inaudible at a certain distance? If so, how did you come up with that attenuation value? Great video.

This was cool, thanks for sharing it. How do audio sources respond when inside and outside the different spaces? So if you have a source inside a room and you are outside, how does your system handle that?

How did you make her voice? Ive been trying to replecate it for a while but I can't ever seem to find the right audio stuff
I started with finding a synth sound using Vital (a free synth vst) that felt like a close representation of Madeline. I made some small changes with eq, and then added another layer of eq with some moving peaks to recreate the natural frequencies human voices follow. I "performed" her voice with my keyboards pitch wheel. Kevin Regamy has a really solid walkthrough on what he did to make the voices in Celeste on his Twitter I think, you should check it out!

IHMO the reference for the sound should never be the player's position but the position of the camera instead to match the visual input. Many games screw this up.
