I aspirated coming out of my last surgery getting my implants. Now 12 years later I am extremely nervous for my explant next month. I am following a strict autoimmune diet and doing everything I can to stay healthy. I am currently on methotrexate for my stills disease, but my surgeon wants me to stop taking it. My fear is getting my fevers back wich is part of stills. Should I keep taking methotrexate until my surgery and then stop?

I had to have my implants out due to rupture I had it done through public as I couldn’t afford to have it done private. My surgeon took my implants out, said she couldn’t take the capsule off my ribs as it was too close to my heart so she left that. She said they did a test on the implants and said there was no bacteria there was just a lot of inflammation! She I be concerned?

I was diagnosed with Still's Disease last summer. I have had my breast implants for 12.5 years. Booked for October 18th to remove them and a full en-bloc. I am on methotrexate but still get my rash almost daily.

In listening to some other surgeons rationalize why they had to leave pieces of that capsule in when they did an explant, ie. some said it was "dangerously adhering to the chest wall" etc. tells me that maybe they were not as skilled or experienced as was needed. I don't want any of that disease-causing capsule left behind; it will affect the restoration of health, or cause something worse later. PS I'm so sorry that you lost your sister in that way. I'm learning so much from your videos, thank you!

I appreciate this video. I had implants for 10 years. 2 years after I was diagnosed with M.S. no one in the family has it. I had symptoms immediately after but had no idea what it was until I got an MRI. I went to my implant surgeon, but he said he doubted that the inplants had anything to do with it. I went for a consult, but he said my implants were fine, and there was no need to explant. But after 10 years, my mindset changed. I just feel top-heavy and not happy with how I look.
