Well you are up in the snowy north. I'm in Patagonia so no snow but it was only 14C this morning. Traveled over 5,000 km in the last two weeks then broke 9 spokes in my back wheel. I'm giving up. My daughter is coming with a pickup to rescue us. Wishing I had my girlie Tiger down here.

Loving your videos. You got me looking at Tiger girlies again. I think I have the solution. I can sell off a few shares of a retirement account after the first of the year. The only other snag is transport of the bike from the dealer to my buddy's house but that is only 100 miles. Can't get anyone to ride it because temps in NY are below freezing. Bike will sit outside until April when I arrive. Thanks for the encouragement.

I think I could live with one. My riding buddy has a '01 Legend. He bought it in '01 and it has 100,000 miles. He's on a Tiger 800 now. After one ride on the Tiger I started looking for one. Newer ones are too expensive and have too much electronics. I like the 955i. It has injection and nothing else. I'm on a '87 GL1200 Goldwing. Base model with no extras, not even a radio.

See it a lot as I travel up and down the a 14 to Newmarket Thetford Mildenhall ect yes lots of non English plates carving it up

Yeah, I'm sure you're right there Dave, the pace of modern life is too fast!! It seems very few people get proper old-school training these days, be it kids on bikes, pedestrians, drivers. All in too much of a rush. When we were kids, road safety was drummed into us from birth!

Have an 05 model and I've been having a few problems with it stator went and so did the rectifier it blew a main fuse yesterday and it runs rough in town but is great on the open road any idea what the rough running around town would be mate love the bike just wondering whats going to go wrong next classic id say it will in time the early models are classics I will preciver with it but having had it 3 months and all the stuff that's gone wrong I don't really trust it to do a tour on it at the moment .....

Over here in New Zealand a classic is 30 years or older I will say the 93 model tigers are classics the 2000 Tigers will become classics I have an 05 model and I'm having alot of problems with it at the moment stater went on it and rectifier went as well it blew the main fuse yesterday then the blinker and horn fuse blew and it's surging in town but great out on the open road love the bike magic to ride but I'm starting to wonder what's going to go wrong next 😅 I will see how it goes mate

My only dislikes with the 955i tiger, radiator cap location and all the bits and bobs you have to take off to get the gas tank off. Otherwise it's been an amazing bike for me.
