Can I plug my headset into the capture card? So they can hear me? I usually plug it into my controller but they won’t hear me that way I don’t think.

Seeing this video in 2024, I do have a question when i use a capture card for Xbox does it also get the audio from the other players in my party or just my audio?

This helped immensely. If anyone is having a hard time seeing the display on the tv when you first set it up, double check all the connections. At first I couldn’t see a display, checked everything, and bingo bango bongo!

1080p is closer to 2K as 2K would be 1/4 of 4K. You can fit 4 2ft square tiles in 4ft square.

Does it only record gameplay audio default? Or do we have to do something so it only records the games audio?

I did this before and it worked well last year made tons of videos now when I try to do no signal on monitor and doesn’t pop on obs. Would it be because my computer is outdated I have a mac book air 2015 or the capture card is old I have a pyle capture card ?

The problem that I see on my laptop is that after I have selected video capture device, for some reason the device list only shows me camera devices for my laptop but not showing me my Elgato Game Capture Device. Is there a way to resolve this problem? Let me know if you have received this message.

Do u really need a capture card to record Consoles on obs on pc?

The background music makes it hard to pickup on echo in the room, makes it useless. You might want to try a SDC instead of a shotgun …

Probably too far away. The 'room showed up' when you switched to the new microphone. The desk microphone sounded better. In terms of practicality, a boom mic on a good (not a cheap) boom stand might be the best choice because (if the boom is not a cheap one) you can move the mic if you need to, and unlike the desk-based mic, you can bump your desk and the boom mic won't pick that up. Thanks for showcasing this. I'm going to stick with a boom-mounted mic.

It no longer works, or for me, at least it doesn't and I have video on my monitor but obs or any capture utility doesn't recognize it and 4k capture utility from elgato is saying its being used in another software and elgato has no clue what is causing it to not work
