Something that I'm surprised no-one has mentioned about our adorabley feral sailor man, is that I'm pretty sure he might have a touch of sea madness. Always making sure if a person is real or an illusion, the whole "I thought ye was a demon, boy", and other stuff I'm forgetting. I thought about putting his cannabalistic tendencies in the case of him having a touch of sea madness but I feel like that's more or less a character trait of his. I don't think its a heavy amount of madness but i do believe he has a touch. He did say that he's been on many ships and he is the best sailor that the Revenge has.

I just realised the reason the reason Buttons looks at the other crew members Like That is because hes probably extremely far sighted (why hes able to tell what the boats are at such a distance)

Someone prolly already said this before, but out of everyone else in the crew, he's clearly the most experienced sailor compared to the others. I mean he's experienced multiple mutinies in his life, knows what kind of ship are approaching miles away *without* a spy glass, and there's more I'm missing but those are the ones I remember. This man is just truly amazing 😭

I'm not even kidding I have a friend who looks A LOT like Mr Buttons (just with a full head of hair, much younger and slightly less crazy) and I'm always teasing him for it. Also he's one of my favourite characters so I consider it to be a compliment. He should cosplay as him.
