Umji's Lemon cover is such a feat. The video and her voice exude the special sensitivity so fitting for the song that we completely buy into her voice singing this beautiful tune. Yerin's singing tends to lean light and airy even though I know she has some power in her. I can't help but relate the lyrics in "Aria" to her Gfriend experience, particular for its unceremonious breakup by the company.

Aria is a good song but i prefer the title track after it, called 'Bambambam'. Soloist Yerin debuted with Aria on May 18th which is the same date that gfriend's disbandment news came out. Trivia: 'Aria' was Yuju's stage name candidate :D

Yerin pursued her dream of being an actress when she left GFriend after their contracts were terminated early. She also became a chat show host and became a guest on many variety shows but she no longer sang or danced. But the pain of the breakup ran deep and she released Aria on the day she did because it was on the exact date their contracts were terminated one year before. That was no coincidence as she said she felt Buddies pain and realised that they would suffer forever on that day in the calendar in future years, which would be marked as Dday for Disbandment of GFriend day. So she released Aria on that date to change the narrative of Dday to be Debut of Yerin solo career day instead to allow Buddies to have happy memories for that date in the calendar instead of heartbreak. The song has lyrics which talk about how she felt she was never allowed to express herself with solo activities whilst in GFriend and how frustrated this made her. She also refers to the cruel words and keen looks she got when they were told their contracts were being ripped up. She even talks about the lies, all lies that her old company spread to the media after they were released from the company but she couldn’t be specific as they were forced to sign NDAs to gag them legally. The 3 years of their NDA seems to have expired now, as the members have now started to talk about how bad they felt back then and how their contracts had not expired at all which was the company line to the media but they were unceremoniously fired instead. These lyrics have extra special meaning with the timing of the songs release being on such a significant date.

The cover of Lemon by Umji was her fulfilling a promise she made to Buddies years earlier when she sang one verse at a Japanese concert and the fans loved it. She promised to do a full cover one day but her old company never allowed her to and she had to wait until she gained the independence that VIVIZ have, to finally deliver with the blessing and help from her new company BPM. It is song with such emotion and feeling it is truly beautiful and really allows her to show her talents.

In my opinion Bruno looks like his father. His father is of Puerto Rican descent and the mustache reminds of mariachi bands. Bruno and his brother and their father are percussionists. His father had a band when Bruno was a child in Honolulu Hawaii. Bruno plays more than 8 instruments. This song is incredible. And I promise you will not be able to get it out of your head! Red sun is a gfriend unreleased song that was supposed to be released along with their 2nd full album 'Time for Us' in 2019, but yeah it wasn't chosen.. Viviz then re-recorded the song in 2022 and performed it on Queendom 2 as their final stage. On the show, Viviz also performed a special song called 'Time for the glory' which is a mashup of 'Rough' + 'Time for the moon night' (a gfriend title track which u haven't checked yet :D)

Yess really love the city pop vibes of 'Overdrive' 🚘🌃 definitely one of my fav Viviz's songs! It's on the same album as 'Love or die' btw which is the 'VarioUS' album (title track: Pull Up)

So glad you got to see them. I had such a fun time when I went. I had to be there early cause I had an everything ticket but man it was a great show. So happy that they came over to the US and that they had some many things like selfies, group photos, etc. My concert was also 2 hours away. After the concert I had to wait 8 hours at the bus station for the bus the next morning to take me back home but the girls were worth it and I would do it again! 💜💙❤

3:51 this video was made during the Crossroads era, with Apple and Mago included, Gfriend has won a total of 71 music shows making them the top 4th female group with the most music show wins to date even though the group has been inactive for almost 4 years.

3:35 yess gfriend was a rookie monster backthen, what was more amazing was that they came from a small unknown company. Gfriend started with low budget MVs and cheap outfits, but what made them get recognition was their amazing live vocals and synchronized dancing. Their first songs Glass bead and Me gustas tu with 'Powerful innocence' concept/sound was a fresh color in the kpop industry at that time which i think also made them stand out among other nugu groups.

Must say I am jealous for your attendance to an intimate Viviz concert.

i attended V.Hind series at Bangkok. it's in totally different format. It's a full concert like the one in Seoul. So there's not much chance to get interacted with them (except if you have really loud voice). The US Tour format is really heartwarming. Considering their last US activity was in 2017, they really want to connect with their fans, so it felt like a 'private concert'. I'm a big fan of SinB since GFriend. But then i get a chance to do a video call with Umji, and had a great comfortable talk with her. But seeing them in person, i got starstrucked by Eunha. She shine so bright!! SinB : always being playful with audience. Eunha : spread the cuteness all over the room. Umji : the type who will look you in the eye, wink and puff her cheeks, makes you in love.... and then non-stop flirting to everyone (just like you said) 🤣🤣 So i decided, i bias all 3 of them 😁.
