I've never been so heartbroken because of a scene in my intire life, I'm both excited and scared of what season 3 will bring😥😫 Btw,does anyone know anything about how S3 it's gonna turn out?Or if Neil Gaiman gave any clues...

Ugh, like stab me in the heart because Crowley wanted this precious, peaceful, fragile life with Azirpahale to not only last, but to continue to grow and develop- for the both of them to become more honest and true to who they are and how they feel as individuals. Crowley didn’t want to waste a single second more pretending to have more loyalty to a side than he does to Aziraphale. He’s asking ‘I know you want to leave to serve your side, but maybe if you knew how much I care for you- and believe in us- would you consider that we are better off trusting each other instead of following someone else’s orders? That the world would be better off if we followed our own moral code? Will you be brave enough to try?’ And then, “You can’t leave this bookshop.” Aziraphale doesn’t connect that Crowley is referring to THEIR bookshop, their home, their life together. So to Crowley, when Aziraphale chuckles and says “Nothing lasts forever”, he’s hearing, ‘You’re being silly, our life here together was never meant to last.’ Which is worse than ‘No, I can’t stay here on earth with you’ because this makes it sound like Aziraphale finds it laughable that Crowley could ever compare to the call of Heaven. So the “No. No, I don’t suppose it does…” hurts so much because Crowley is completely defeated. Like he just realized, ‘Oh, I never stood a chance.’ I do believe Aziraphale was referring solely to the bookshop and cared more about being with Crowley (in Heaven) than leaving his bookshop behind. Doesn’t make it hurt any less.

I decided to novelize this scene for practice with emotion and such if anyone would like to read it :) any advice is wanted "He said *what*?" Crowley divulged, cautiously stepped closer, his eyebrows furrowed. "He said I could appoint you." Aziraphale confirmed sharply, trying to hide the excitement in his voice. "To be an angel." He continued, "To come back... To Heaven, to... And.. Everything. Like the old times." Aziraphale stammered as he tried to catch his breath, a smile beginning to creep up on his face. "It'll be even nicer!" He grinned as he explained. Crowley stood there, mouth slightly agape at the reveal of this rude awakening. "Right. And you told him where he can stick it, then?" Crowley retorted with a slight cock of the brow. Aziraphale's grin faltered for a moment. "Not at all!" Aziraphale replied. A beat of silence. "No. We're better than that, *you're* better than that, *angel*," Crowley raised his voice slightly, Aziraphale's grin finally falling as he continued. "You don't need them, I *certainly* don't need them!" Crowley scoffed, beginning to pace around the room as he spoke. "Look, they asked me back to Hell, I said, "No, I'm not rejoining their team!" Neither should you!" Crowley continued, Keeping his eyes glued on Aziraphale. "Well, obviously you said no to Hell, you're the bad guys." Aziraphale stated matter-of-factly with a chuckle, Crowley sighed as he said that, feeling a pang in his chest. "But Heaven, it's the side of truth, of... Light. Good." "When Heaven ends all life on Earth, it will be just as dead as if Hell did it." Crowley spoke bitterly. Aziraphale hesitated to respond. "Tell me you said no." Crowley practically pleaded, the bitter look still on his face. Aziraphale searched for the words to tell him, some words to make this right. His mouth opened to speak but no words came out. Aziraphale's eyes danced around the room. "Tell me you said no." Crowley repeated, stepping closer. His tone was different it was more so... desperate than before. "If I'm in charge... I can make a difference." Aziraphale finally said. Crowley blinked, then grunted in frustration as he turned around. He walked around the room, muttering quietly before he finally faced Aziraphale again. "I didn't get a chance to say what I was gonna say, I better say it now." Crowley began. "So." He exhaled deeply, hesitating greatly at what he was about to say. He looked down, his arms swung anxiously as he spoke. "We've known each other a long time." He glanced back up. "We've been on this planet, a long time. I mean, you and me." Crowley's voice fell slightly wobbly as he voiced the feelings he had experienced for... *thousands* of years. "I could always rely on you. You could always rely on me. We're a team. A group... Of the two of us." He seemed to want to use another word, but instead danced around it in uncertainty. "And we've spent our existence like we aren't." Crowley's voice broke ever so slightly. Aziraphale listened quietly, his face riddled with pensiveness. He was afraid of what he was going to say. Crowley recollected his thoughts, taking deep breaths as he glanced around the room. "And I would like to spend..-" He cut himself off with a grumble, stalling to express his own feelings as he broke eye contact with Aziraphale. He let out a sigh, looking at him again. "I mean if... Gabriel and Beelzebub... Could do it, go off together... Then we can." He explained. "Just the two of us." He continued in a hushed tone. "We don't need Heaven, we don't need Hell, they're *toxic*. We need to get away from them." Aziraphale shifted his weight as he began to shake his head. "Just be... an *us*." The word he would prefer to use would be "couple", but Crowley was overall shilly-shallying on this topic. "What do you say?" Crowley asked. Aziraphale shook his head, stepping closer. "Come with me." He pleaded, "Come to Heaven, I'll run it, you can be second in command." Crowley's furrowed eyebrows began to soften to a more solemn utterance."You *can't* leave this bookshop." Crowley entreated. "Oh, Crowley. Nothing lasts forever." Aziraphale said softly, the corners of his mouth slowly curling into a fond smile. It was faint, but it was visible. Crowley's gaze stared back at him with a pensive look, his eyes glossy. He slowly nodded. "Yeah. That's what it is." Crowley glanced away, speaking quietly. He put his glasses back on, his focus shifted to the door. "Good luck." He said daintly, beginning to walk towards the door. Aziraphale watched as Crowley walked towards the door. "*"Good luck"*? Crowley!" Aziraphale chided sharply, making Crowley turn around to look at him again. "Come back. Come back to Heaven." He pleaded. "Work with me! We can... Be together. As... *angels*." Crowley shifted his gaze past him. "Doing *good*. I *need* you." Aziraphale's voice quivered as he spoke. He was so desperate, feeling trapped against his own word. Aziraphale would be in Heaven, but he would lose *his* Heaven. Crowley didn't even look at him. "I don't think you understand what I'm offering you." "I understand." Crowley finally shifted his gaze to Aziraphale. "I think I understand a whole lot better than you." Aziraphale let out a soft sigh and gave him a gentle smile. "Well. Then there's nothing more to say." There's a few beats of silence before Crowley spoke again. "You hear that?" He asked softly, pointing upwards. Aziraphale scoffed. "I don't hear anything." He exasperated. "That's the point. No nightingales." Aziraphale's expression softened. "You idiot. We could've been... *us*." Crowley suddenly stepped forward, gripping Aziraphale's coat as he pulled him in, pressing his lips against his. Aziraphale gasped softly, squeezing his eyes shut. He shakily moved his hands up to Crowley's back. Crowley let go, and Aziraphale let out a few shaky breaths, tears in his eyes. "I forgive you." He finally said. Crowley let out a soft sigh, making his way towards the door. "Don't bother." It was the last thing said before Crowley exited the bookshop, making his way to the Bentley. Aziraphale's breath trembled, coming out short. He moved up a shaky hand up to his mouth.

крч есть одна интересная теория, что азика метатрон заставил покинуть землю с помощью кофе. перед встречей с Азирафелем архангел зашел в кофейню «Даруй мне кофе или смерть» и спросил у владелицы заведения Нины (Нина Сосанья), просил ли кто-то из посетителей смерть. Нина ответила, что все гости заказывают только кофе. Этим вопросом архангел намекнул, что название кофейни не дает клиентам право выбора - вряд ли кто-то предпочтет смерть. Метатрон купил кофе, принес его Азирафелю, предложил ангелу выпить напиток, после чего убедил его вернуться в рай. Возможно, Метатрон что-то сделал с кофе, чтобы Азирафель принял его предложение. Все-таки в начале разговора Азирафель заявил, что в рай не собирается. К тому же в 1 серии Азирафель дал понять, что он не любит кофе - предпочитает чай. Своим вопросом про название «Даруй мне кофе или смерть» Метатрон наверняка подразумевал, что у Азирафеля на самом деле нет выбора. Кроме того, Метатрон еще до беседы с Азирафелем решил поручить ангелу Мюриэль (Квелин Сепульведа) присмотреть за книжным магазином.

I devoured this series in two weeks and not even with my mother and her partner. Damn, man, when this scene came I cheered and my mother jumped, her partner was very surprised. But then when we saw the rest of the episode we were so disappointed! We're dying to see season three! We need to know how this ends!

Recently the part I've been obsessing over is the moment Crowley says, "No nightingales," and the absolutely gut-wrenching expression Aziraphale gives him. I think that's when it sinks in for Aziraphale that Crowley is seriously telling him it's over. He looks SO hurt and betrayed, yet the change in expression is very soft and subtle. Absolutely brilliant acting choice imo.

I found it and started watching with no clue whatsoever about what it is. Then there was like this insane chemistry between them but i thought hold that feeling they are probably not gonna show anything it's only for you know like BBC's Sherlock and i didn't wanna have my heartbroken again. So I'm watching and watching all the time being like 'Oh Cmon they're clearly IN love' then I know it was very evident in the series but still I was very sure it's not gonna go anywhere beyond friendship.
