Hey! Enjoyed playthrough for a game that really doesn't have much YT content. One comment - the rules state you can recruit more than one of the same specialist.

Question, am I missing something? Your ingenuity track at the beginning is 0. When you sonar at that time (1st move), you had an option of drawing from Depth 1-2 tiles. Since you cannot move to depth of 2 yet, wouldn't it be better to draw two Depth 1 tiles (since you cannot move to Depth 2 yet) or you are going for the Discovery bonus if you end up picking Depth 2 tile?

Neat. I didn’t back but will be looking at retail. I love this system and this looks like an improvement over the old theme. I’m not even halfway through, but I’ll finish watching later. A few Qs now though. Do you really consume the disk to the bag when you flip a specialist? When you move through cards do you get all of the bonuses or just the one you land on?

This helped me so much as you zoomed in and explained the icons--I was confused about some of them and your video cleared it up nicely, especially the Bot's plays. This is my first learned Garphill game so I'm not familiar with their set up. Thanks!

When baron builds it looks for a new city in his network that does not have a building .. after that look for a tiebreaker

When baron complete a rail he takes 6 points for every tile… so when baron complete a rail with 2 of his tiles he takes 12 points …

Thank you for the video. The special directive tile does not cost you a Thaler but rather gives you any main action with a discount of 1 Thaler. Rgds.

7:20 wasn't there a rectangular thin piece of foam there, with a cut-out for the main board?

The player aids and other little cards fit under the bags in the tray.

Cool Video. I just started to organize it. In the smaller tray you have got some extra space left which could possibly be for some expansion Hexagon tiles. In my German rulebook Page 3. are shown 4 Hex-tiles of exp.2 and 9 Hex-tiles of exp.5 (white castles). I have never played the game yet and don't know if its a problem to have them allready in the bags if you want to learn the basic rules with just basic game tiles. I love the quality of this massive Box of a game and i think it's well thought through but pictures of the packed Inlays in the rulebook would have been nice. I can't imagine how they didn't think of it. Thank you for your video. I hope my english is enough to understand.

Mine came with a piece of padding that surrounds the game board so it does not slide around Thanks for the video. It really helped me organize my trays. I think I’m just going to store it flat I’m afraid to do it any other way some pieces might fall out

I don’t think you can boost your current action with x tokens the way you did during your final action. I found this in a thread discussing the game: You set the strength of an action before you perform it. This means you can’t use X-tokens gained while performing the action to increase the strength of this action." is the exact wording in the English rulebook, page 8 paragraph 3.

Hi, enjoying your newly discovered channel. But at 38:53 do you need to have flipped your Association card to take the top personal board action? I thought when they are red the card needs to be flipped first?

I was enjoying your videos, and they helped me learn the missions since the rulebook is pretty poor. I'm sad that you never recorded adventures 6, 7, and 8. Any chance you have them ready, just not posted yet?

I have the Billy Bookcase from Ikea which has more shelf space horizontally so it fits great on top of my other games like Expeditions and Arnak which are bigger than Kallaxes can fit. Starting to feel that Kallaxes are overrated for this reason.
