Is there a way to switch the temp to Fahrenheit?

why did i not know this app sooner im looking for app that could control case fan based on gpu temp this is exactly what i need thanks man

Wanted to use this SW because the fans on my laptop are driving me nuts even when just on the desktop. Too bad I couldn't get near setting it up as it just doesn't find my fans whatsoever. It's a Lenovo Legion, so that might be the reason? However, this is a great guide. I think it would be good to make a guide about how to find your fans if they are not showing up insta and how to go looking for them. :) Sucks I can't use this SW.

When does this come to Linux? Open source linux fan control situation is an absolute mess. Nothing either works, or is intuitive enough, lacks documentation or even lacks buttons/is incomplete.

This program basically saved my day 🙏. Armoury crate cannot use as decision source GPU temperature for fan curve control which resulted for me into problem that when I had strong GPU load but weak CPU load, there was almost no feedback to blast front mesh fans and this resulted into RAM overheating which caused large FPS stutters and in one case bluescreen. As soon as I adjusted fan curves with GPU temperatures taken into account I can now pass memory tests even when I run on background Furmark which I could only if I used fan curve which was for no reason too loud when idling.

I have fan control but I think it's only detecting the CPU fans and the GPU fans. I don't think it's detecting the case fans, since they are plugged into a hub. Is there a way to detect them in the hub? I can plug them into the MoBo, but if if can detect a hub that would be good too.

For some reason, my system fans aren't showing up in the application, only my GPU. Is anyone else having this problem?

using it on RHEL with a DELL server the fan apear and the speed of fan apear but i can not select the fan in the block controling fans

"Ugly green" is an enunciation exercise if ever I've heard one.

Typical problem: app it's made by computer geeks for computer geeks, not for regular persons. Interface not intuitive at all even with tutorial. Also had problems when I closed the app window by clicking corner X instead of selecting in the menu to Quit the app. App would still run in the background and could not delete the app files. Had to reinstall it again then close it by selecting Quit (three dots upper right corner), then I could delete all files and folders. Again, definitely not for the regular person.

I got an asrock MB, fans wont stopt at 0% And my front intake fans are not being callibrated properly they are connected on a splitter, is there anything blocking it?

i have a lian li 215, and neither of the 2 front fans or back exhaust fan are recognized by this software... could they somehow be plugged into the wrong header, or perhaps a header that this app doesn't recognize?

0% fan. try feel your gpu, it will be around 40-55 degrees celcius. i must be dum, cuz i have another newer version of this software, and icannot get it right :D

What a pile of junk. Tried thi8s one a bit a year ago, was not impressed since i had to use even more tools just to figure out what fans are what. Tried it again yesterday, non of the plugins (Asus and nvida thingy) would work so that was the end of that test. Im trying it again now, the pluings are loaded, bot NOT ONE SINGLE fan is detected. And then i changed one tiny thing in settings (PSU fan on) And it hangs on refreshing. So after wiping this POS off the disk, "installed" again no with out the ASUS plugin, and it found fans, but OF CURSE claims 90% of the FANS have no RPM Censor. Funny, i can go in BIOS and set EVERY FAN by RPM. What a pile of junk.

my pc came with a controller hub for all the fans , besides cpu fan , not sure how to enable that in the software to see the controller hub fans

Just got around to using this awesome software. Got rid of the bloated Armoury crate. Keep up the good work mate!

I know its old video, but 3 years later I just discovered FanControl and I love it, absolutely amazing how you manage to make this work so well. I've been using aquasuite by aquacomputer for over decade, Its powerful software that does virtually the same thing, but I must say, FanControl not only takes less resources, but works absolutely amazingly controlling my Strix 4090 fans among all of my case fans. I really hope you will keep on supporting this miracle software for a many years to come. Donation coming your way. Thank you

Doesn't work. It shows a GPU Fan that's not doing anything or reacting and 7 other fans. Nothing I do detects them in a way that I can control them. All videos I can find on this software start from a point I can't even get to. I tried pairing fan cards to their respective speed cards and ran the Detect Fans Start % Automatically and it counts them all to 100%, but then all show up as "Fan Never started." Then, I realized my case fans are part of a hub that needed to be connected to the motherboard, as I recently disconnected it, so it's reading all them at once, which is fine, but I still can't control them with this software working.

Good software, sadly way to complecated to setup.

can you explain or show us how to add plugins? i have the nzxt fans and pump and have the main software running in conjuction with this but i can see its possible to run it natively in the plugin section. dont know how to use visual studio

how to automatically launch this program with the windows???? i have to launch it manually every time, it dosen't appear in task manager startup and shell:startup shortcut didn't work either

My fans are not physically stopping when activating the flat curve. Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks! I've been using your software for a while and was looking for a way to sync my GPU fans (for some reason the three fans are split in two groups) but wasn't quite sure how to set it up. The software is great and your videos are helpful :-)

I have two HP Z6 workstations … on one, fan control wouldn’t even open, the other, fan control opened but only found the GPU fan… nothing else. I spent hours trying to resolve both issues. Sadly, I had to cut my losses. Fan control seems perfect for my needs…if only it worked..😢

This is exactly what I’ve looking for...sadly, it will not open.. it just spins for a second and then nothing. I tried several things...but I have not been able to get it to run. I hope you can help.. I installed new CPUs and they are running very hot.
