Anyone that says Lars is a jerk, just doesn’t know. I’ve met him and he is the second or third most friendly, coolest and polite rockstar I’ve ever met. And what he did for that kid is the coolest thing in the world. That kid will never forget that and how could he, that’s awesome.

The lucky kid is me! I would have liked to play an entire song with the band but it happened so fast… When I look the video, I think that Kirk was about starting to play if I had continued to play instead of crushing the cymbals at the end. Anyway, thank you Lars for your kindness! 🤘❤️🥁 I’ll definitely keep the sticks preciously but I’ll sometimes use these to play some Metallica songs. Kirk at the end: « Dive! Dive! » 😂😂

I occasionally rag on Lars for being a sloppy drummer, but he was my first drummer idol when I grew up and the fact that he saw the kids sign and brought him on stage to play, albeit a short while, he made that kids wish come true.
