It's crazy, I've never played this game til recently and I'm loving it. I've started spending my Friday nights playing this, seeing how far I get. I can't beat Mars needs cheerleaders stage, so fun! Cheers Retro!!!

I had this on the Genesis in the mid nineties and I used the Nintendo Power issue that featured this religiously to help me traverse through the strange and interesting world. There was a cheat that one could use at the opening before the main menu that had an animation pop up. I did it every time I played the game, it was hilarious. I believe it was of a character holding an axe and dressed as an archer and then he swings the axe. I can’t remember now but that always stuck out as it was so random lol. I have a sealed copy for the Sega CD and I purchased this for the Dreamcast from JoshProd.

The turbo controller (or whatever it was called) was a must for this game! I was lucky and found one for a couple bucks at a yard sale. This was the main game I used it for, different games had different controls and it really wasn't optimized for very many other games. I want to say the controller worked on Gun.Smoke pretty good too, but I can't think of anything else really

No your assessment is spot on! Terrible fucking game if there ever was one. For starters you get hit twice and it’s game over back to the beginning. The enemies are impossible whether it be those stupid frogs or the even stupider insect alien enemies that jump around. Whatever the hell those were supposed to be (I looked in the manual and they are not listed)

Happy New Year brother! While 2024 wasn't entirely a bad year, it was definitely filled with its less than stellar moments. Hopefully, 2025 turns out a little better. Don't feel bad about only doing 20 videos. Japanese ninja gaiden 3 is way easier than the American release. 2 is the hardest in both regions in my opinion.

I only put out 2 videos in 2024. Yes, 2. I thought that couldn't be right but I double checked and yeah. Only 2. So don't feel bad about only releasing 20 videos. I want to do more but like you, I either haven't had the time to do so or I'm working on a project and the table is too cluttered to make a video. I've been wanting to make some upgrades as well. Better lighting for sure and shooting in 4K would also be nice. Who knows what the future brings.
