How I Built a VR-Controlled Robot | TEABOT Made Fun!
Просмотров 4,8 тыс.Месяц назад
TEABOT is a VR-controlled robot designed to show off the potential of teleoperation (remote control). In this video, I dive into how I built it, the challenges I faced, and how teleoperated robots are transforming industries. Whether you’re a robotics hobbyist or just love tech, you’ll find plenty to inspire your next project! What are some other things you would want to see TEABOT do? What are...

Wide angle might be a good idea!
Thanks for showing off Gravity Sketch, I just lost a couple of hours playing around in it tonight.
That’s awesome! Definitely looking to use it more in the future.
Really cool concept mate….
adORABLE q=D
having a palette to paint is cute :D
dope content my man
Do you have full courses suggestions to built something similar
Hi! I think the best way to learn is to just do it. Break the components down: 1. Learn Arduino and how to control servo with it. 2. Learn a bit on how to setup VR environment in Unity. 3. Learn how to send data between Unity and Arduino. These are the 3 major components, then you could Google around to find what’s missing :)
@ 👌🫡Yeap it is the best recipe
You got this!
This is so cool. Why has nobody commented?
You’re the first 🙂 and thanks for commenting!
Теперь я хочу сделать себе робота.😅 Но я ноль в коде.)
You can do it! Just start small.
Привет бро. Ты молодец. Идею применил отлично.))))
This channel is so underated
wow, thank you so much!
Nice! Check ruclips.net/video/IcYKfl_J8Yo/видео.html for a marble maze game with a gyro. All the best!
TEABOT FREAKING RUUUULES 🤘🤘
Fantastic! Are you planning on open sourcing this unity project and vr control?
If there's enough interest, I could cleanup my code and publish it. Otherwise, I do plan to revisit after couple more projects.
@@madeautonomous That's fantastic. This kind of bot being accessible and usable as a starting point platform (in an affordable way) is kind of my roman empire this year, and I've only seen one other project (for 22k usd!) that is focused on the vr teleoperation component. (Elephant Robotics Mercury x1) Well done.
Absolutely agreed, there is an open source robot arm from the Huggingface that I’m interested. But I need to save up a bit to buy the components, that was the original plan with the VR control tbh.
Really great work!
Nice work, keep it up!
I need help designing an open world game board for RC robots. Please message me
Hmm... I can help bounce of ideas but probably won't be able to help hands-on. Just let me know what you need help with in the comments :)
“ A good 3 seconds”….. 😂
It’s like eating hotpot (jk). 🤣
You should face the little guy away from the camera towards the incoming targets and it will look like he's hitting them 😁
Wow, that's such a good idea. I might do that in the future. Thanks for this!
I need teabot in my life
This is so cool❤️
Love all the engineering details you took care of! TEABOT playing beat saber is hilarious 🤣
I really love this! Great Job & keep it up!!
Hi one doubt with your hand raobot. With those 9g servos what is the amount of force the hand can put. I want thinking to make a foot masager with those. Want to know if it could actually put force
Hey, are you talking about this hand project I made? ruclips.net/video/ZE4xFo4-ZBc/видео.html If using it with strings, I would say about 2~3 fingers worth of torque it can generate. Probably about 0.5 lb? I don’t have a good way of measuring it. These are quite cheap so I recommend just prototype it. Then upgrade if you need more torque.
Wow. Whats most impressive is not the mapping, but the latency in which the points update. Bravo
Попробовать на мета. Достать код юнити, который создан для сощдания вр игр. Научить ардуино обробатывать его. Добавить камеры. И манипулятор готов.
Had to translate this. But yes, that's the plan! I aim to show a video the next two weeks :)
@@madeautonomous will wait
Вот с чего начать.
Thanks for the video, I was wondering, is it in the vesc tool that the car brakes right away like in the video? If yes, which part should I adjust?
Yes, when testing and you hit "stop" it will stop the motor. It's not necessarily "braking" it's just the gear friction is high so it comes to a stop very fast. If you want the car to keep going, I think you can use the manual mode to control the car in vesc. Could you tell me more about what you want to do?
@@madeautonomous I want the car to stop immediately when I stop the code during actual driving, but it stops slowly. Is it the current control of the Vesc or something else I need to touch?
if i can't find the vesc_servoout.bin file, then where can i find or download the file? or could u give me some guide?
Have you checked all the firmware versions in the list? See 0:57. Also, try updating your bootloader first this might be why: vesc-project.com/node/2763 Otherwise, you might have to Google around.
How?
I can`t see the joypad-f710 in the /dev/input...
The "joypad-f710" is after I setup Udev rule to link the default input name to it. The first step is to find out which default name in the "/dev/input/event[0~9]" is actually the controller. You can unplug and plugin the joystick to see which event number is changing. Then you can verify with the "evtest" on that input to cross-confirm that is the joystick default name. So, in my case. I found that it was event1 which is the joystick when I unplugged and plugged in the USB dongle. Then I map the /dev/input/event1 -> /dev/input/joypad-f710 using Udev rules. Hope this help! sorry for any confusion :)

Sir I have an issue with my ender3 3d printer, screen of ender3 is coming of marline firmware so what to do, as soon as I start every time it shows starting time pop up of marline firmware ? Can u pls help sir...

Yup! Rplidar A1
Yoooo what?
👀 thats awesome
Love your content bro!
0:11 I thought someone joined my discord channel xD
Could you provide me with source code I am also trying to do it in Roblox.
The code I used is composed of lane detection from this video: ruclips.net/video/yvfI4p6Wyvk/видео.html and tutorial from @Sentdex 's GTA5 tutorial: ruclips.net/video/ks4MPfMq8aQ/видео.html
@@madeautonomous Thanks, appreciate it.
ᵖʳᵒᵐᵒˢᵐ 😳
Thank you. That's really helpful!
Glad this helps :)
Bro can you make a video how you build the robotic arm pls
Yes! still on my To-Do list! Is there anything specific you would like to see in that video?
This is for smart ppl only so wtf am i doing here
It's not that complicated, trust me! I have ideas for simpler versions too. Sorry, have not had time to make a tutorial :(
