    STOP, first step to loading any 135 camera is to open the rewind crank, and give it a spin, does it?, if NOT, you are safe, no film inside!!! this step saves you wasting a roll, or opening prematurely.

      I can definitely recommend the RB67. Love the 645 1000s as well. Have one and really enjoy using it. The RB is fully mechanical super reliable! Might wanna change some light seals at some point, but it's definitely a beast. The bellows are so cool as well. The close ups you can get with the camera and the amount of separation you can create is absolutely crazy! Plus, I think they are very fairly priced at the moment. Here in Germany you can find one with a lens for around 400-500€. All the best, Val

    Una basura integral. Inicialmente con fugas de luz al interior con veladuras en la película y fallos electrónicos: al abrir la tapa delantera, el objetivo se desplegaba y se replegaba constantemente haciendo imposible tomar ninguna foto. Cuando pasaron la producción a China, arreglaron eso, pero comenzaron los problemas con las ópticas, los desenfoques ("macro") y distorsiones en los bordes. En definitiva, una mierda de padre y muy señor mío. Naturalmente, puestos en comunicación con Olympus jamás hicieron nada por arreglarlo. Estoy hablando de casi media docena de unidades.

    • @valentinsfotoparadies8708
      @valentinsfotoparadies8708 2 месяца назад

      Hey there and thanks for your comment. My mju ii has been working well for the last 3 years and has never had any issues. I got it from my grandmother who had not used it much, maybe that's why. I have seen a bunch of broken Mju ii online though. That being said, it's not necessarily a bad thing, because that means that there are plenty of spare parts around, if you need some to get yours fixed. Regarding your second question, the comparison between the mju ii and the autoboy luna is not really fruitful because they are pretty different. One is a prime lens camera with a fast aperture whereas the other one is a zoom camera. So the question is rather, do you wanna have a zoom or rather a faster lens? All the best, V

    How are you guys focusing with this camera? I get so many out of focus shots compared to other point and shoots. Especially when i shoot people. Should i stop putting the crosshairs on the eyes and maybe aim for the shirt or a more contrasty spot?? Since it is 2.8 or slower i know if don't need to focus on face but i think it is habit. Any advice?

    • @valentinsfotoparadies8708
      @valentinsfotoparadies8708 3 месяца назад

      Hi Charlii and thanks for your comment! I've always had issues with the focus of the Mju ii, even if I'm concentrating hard on prefocusing... no idea why it's like that. Sometimes it just nails it perfectly and other times (in seemingly easy focusing situations) it misses super badly... maybe aiming for the shirt is not a bad idea, if the light is decent and the camera can stop down to 5.6 or 8, the eyes should be in focus as well. One thing that I have noticed is if I go as close as possible, the focus seems to be pretty consistent. If you're too close, the green light starts blinking, just back up a bit, focus again until it stays green. Hope that helps, V
