I rebuild instrument clusters and I had a nightmare experience sending a canadian customer his cluster back after I repaired it for him. I send the package through the post office with the 3 forms they wanted since its international only to get it back a few days later because they wanted more paperwork. I do that and resend it having to buy another shipping label then customs held onto to it for like 2 weeks before finally sending it to him.

As a Brit working on a small hatchback car and sometimes questioning my sanity with the level of sanding and blocking needed, I see this video in my suggested videos feed and see a car where the panels are so large they're measured in acres and I have to tip my hat to you because that is a big project. Looking forward to seeing the next videos. You've earned yourself another subscriber.

I worked for AAmco transmissions years ago part time as a puller and a second job, they would remove the crossmember and let the transmission hang down that way the engine bolts would be exposed and use a very long 4' extension with a swivel on the end. Doing that would allow you to use an impact and remove those bolts fast.

1:53 they came out a couple years after I was born, so 40+ years now! I remember my dad had a nearly new 89 Sierra 4x4 ext cab long box (with a 305!) and I always thought 1st gear was so short. Years later I learned it's over 3:1, much deeper than a TH350,400,etc. I haven't done much trans work, but 20+ years ago I put a shift kit in my friends 700 in his 89 IROC. I warned him that it might fishtail easier around corners, especially in the rain 😂
