Hello doc. Thanks for your realistic informations about skincare. I just need your opinion ı had to write. I have sensitive/combination skin ı dont want a long skincare routine ın my opinion ıts so bad for skin for a long term. I m 22 and ı think for along time ago ı ruined my skin barrier ı used wrong products and my face was like a huge ıtchy burning tomato. About 3 or 4 months ı did nothing. I just used cica cream 2 times in a week , hylauronic acid cream(pure) and a lot sunscreen. Now ı dont use anything because ı m scaring to using anything. Last time when ı had this problem on my face ı went to hospital(living in turkey we have free healthcare no matter which situation you are they take care with us kindly) and they made corticosteroid and antihistamine thank god ıt helped so much ı cant write the medicine names because they are not same ın our countries. I know that ı dont have allergies on this products ı used them wrongly and they were not proper for me. Now ı really want to start a simple skincare routine but ıdk what to do. I really missed my old times my face’s look. Can you please help me🙏🏻💐

Dry skin here and extremely dry eyes. Lupus, RA, and sjorgens cause my eyes to be super dry. When super dry they actually over product tears but they aren’t healthy tears. Washing my face once morning is a huge help. I do a hot rice pack before washing my face to help open my oil glands back up. People wash their faces after brushing their teeth and other things. It is necessary. Maybe not to you but telling people it isn’t necessary is wrong also

Fear-mongering in general is asinine. And aging skin should never be the reason why someone should wear sunscreen but skin cancer prevention protection instead. They make chemical sunscreens that are reef safe. I would like to try mineral sunscreen. But the problem is I need to cover my whole body and they just don't make big enough products and mineral sunscreen is so expensive. It's unfortunate and some people breakout or have allergic reactions to mineral and/chemical sunscreen. It’s tough.
