After struggling a bit on the A* pathfinding, I managed to refine it by quite a bit. After that, I decided to add a new gun, and decided to rework the existing gun system and the player sprites with it. Later on I realized that the inventory also needed a major rework as it was kinda dumb stupid code that would not work for my purposes.

Read below for more info: I had a world gen thing before, however it was unoptimized and needed improvement. This version of the world gen has better FPS since the new chunks that the player doesn't see are not loaded. The hud also got a new change and now its more comfortable to the eye. As basically none of you know, I am a Godot game developer. I've made a few projects before, some not even reaching a functional state, and this is the only game I've been happy to develop. The game is called "Nyctalopia", and will take place in a procedurally generated forest with blind creatures. There might be multiple characters to choose from and it might start out as a survival/wave game....

i thought i could just upload something on this channel since i haven't done that in a while normally id be running this game at 100 fps, but something with obs made it decrease the fps by like 70. if anyone knows how to fix this please let me know in the comments also i might do game dev stuff on this channel with godot (not anything impressive tho since i only know a little about it)

I recorded this with 4k bitrate so i think it should look better. I might make it worse when I do this agian tho because i need frames. EDIT: i messed up and changed the wrong setting :(
