Hello, I use coco coir mixed with perlite for my pilea. This plant is not hard to care but with the right substrates, it will thrive. If you are using soil, I highly recommend to check the roots. Maybe it’s not draining well. Another alternative is to take it off the soil and place it in the water. I hope this help. 🥰

Hello, my apology for the late response. Been busy lately. I transitioned my plant from coco coir to pon mix as well but it didn’t like it. So, I went back to the old substrate it was used to. Use coco coir mixed with perlite and bark. Make sure to not water it often until the roots aren’t well developed.

Hey, hope some tips help. Waroq are epiphytic so airy substrate are very important to them. You can try fully pumice, which I did and never had a problem, same setting here for my wendlingeri and many mant of my philodendron and alocasia. Depending on the surrounding of your place you need to adjust the watering schedule only. Windy and warm outdoor you can water everyday, I'm from Malaysia. For outdoor balcony setting with low wind movement I do watering every 2-3 days. You don't need to fully soak the it for full saturation with this kind of setting since the water frequency are so often. What we read online and what i share to youvis just a general guide. Just tune the info to your on setting. Editted: the pumice I use are larger size, about 1cm size.

Hi Leslie, you don’t need to buy one. But if you want your Syngonium to grow vertically, consider getting it. I’m not sure what you mean by not opening. If you place this plant in the water itself it will grow fast. Please, let me know what else I can help. My apology for the late response. 💚

You can save the pollens in the freezer to preserve. If you have a new hybrid that has inflo, you can try to pollinate them together. 🙂

Hello Jess, I used the lid measurement for the hydroponic solution before. But I stopped using it mainly because I stick to the slow-release fertilizer. I normally used one scoop for the big plant and half for the small plants. You can reapply it to the plant after 6 months which is the recommended waiting period. And yes, it does work. It’s safer than a liquid solution. I hope this helps. 💚

Hi Anna, I’m so sorry to hear that. I know, it sucks because it happened to me but I learned from it and am thankful that I was able to share my story. Please be careful on buying internationally. If you live in Canada, there are these ecuagenera and tropical plants that come to do some events maybe you can come by to one of them and get your dream plants. They sell exotic plants. But if you’re looking for monstera, specifically, I highly sugggeestnto look out on FB marketplace. It’s safer and convenient. 💚

Hey Matthieu, I highly recommend feeding your plant with slow-release fertilizer and placing it under grow light. That’s pretty much what I did for my plant. I used coco coir mixed with bark and perlite for the substrate. I hope this helps.🌱
