Qué gran voz y qué timbre tan talentoso. Graves barítonos y agudos metálicos. ¡Gran variedad en inglés! Este tipo de voces son raras en este momento. Felicidades.
I love the timbre of his voice and his musicianship. My one criticism would be that he tends to scoop every note that is above the passaggio.
I don't believe that your statement about Marin scooping is accurate. He seems to approach every note cleanly and doesn't even use much portamento, no less scooping. His voice is a little dry here and he's laboring, but a nice performance.
The best ive heard since del monaco,tucker,corelli,armiliato being the last great tenor to sing this most strenuous role,i like this tenor,he has squillo and steel in his voicd,sadly lacking in so many of todays tenors,bravo
Maestro Marin has everything necessary for greatness. That being the case, why isn't he appearing at the Met Opera
Lovely voice. Excellent performance. A great challenge for any tenor. Well done.
